At What Cost? is a three-part mission chain in the Margins where recruits have deserted the Order’s training base and Nemosa wants them found. You track one deserter down, recover another from the Forsaken, then learn enough about the Order’s methods to decide whether the remaining recruits should go free. All three parts are recommended for level 71 and reach warp 1,550, starting in Kúshlah. Rewards include 6,400 Σ-Romulan Credits, 43,800,000,000 Romulan Points, 187,000 Σ-Tritanium and 3 Gravimetric Data. Fights sit around 4.2 to 4.3 trillion strength, and the final choice includes a path with no fight at all.

The Order has some deserters. You are called to the Order’s training base and sent after the first recruit who ran.
- Go to the training base in Alvolea.
- Track the deserter to Kithmór.
- Donate 10k Σ-Dilithium.
- Defeat the attacker in Kithmór (enemy strength ~4,174,048,810,077).
Warp to complete: 1,550.

Get the deserters back. Nemosa learns that her recruits have defected, and the search takes you to the Forsaken, who are not keen to hand anyone over.
- Report back to Nemosa in Alvolea.
- Meet with the Forsaken representatives in Kheania.
- Defeat the Forsaken member in Kheania (enemy strength ~4,314,618,503,236).
- Find the deserters in Alvolea.
- Bring him back to the Order in Alvolea.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.

Will you help the deserters? After what you learned in Part 2, you speak with Nemosa and then with a deserter in Almeophus before deciding whether to let the recruits go.

Tips for completing At What Cost?
All three Part 3 choices pay the same. Leaving the deserters imprisoned is a single trip back to your Station, while breaking them out adds a fight and a run to Kheania, and bribing the guard adds a 30k Σ-Tritanium payment and the same run. Pick the story you prefer without worrying about the loot.
The fights are spread one per part (two if you break the recruits out) and sit between 4.1 and 4.4 trillion strength, so a ship that clears the Part 1 attacker in Kithmór can handle the rest. Keep 10k Σ-Dilithium ready for the Part 1 donation.

For Romulan-aligned players, yes. The chain pays 6,400 Σ-Romulan Credits, 43,800,000,000 Romulan Points and 3 Gravimetric Data, along with 243,000 Σ-resources, 875,000 7★ Raw Gas and 5 1 Day Assignment Speed Up. The only fixed cost is 10k Σ-Dilithium, and the fights are lighter than the level 72 chains in the Margins.
