Scraps is a Klingon-aligned Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you search the wreckage of the USS Retribution. It is listed at recommended level 1, starts at warp 1 and needs warp 17 to complete. Most of it happens in Azha, where you investigate the wreck, disable an engineer’s vessel at about 104,274 strength and rescue Khol, before delivering Khol to Khitomer. The reward is 350 recruit tokens in total plus Klingon Credits and Klingon Points, at the cost of 1,600 Romulan Points.
Scraps objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Investigate the remains of the USS Retribution. Location: Azha.
- Investigate the Starfleet presence. Location: Azha.
- Disable the engineer’s vessel. Location: Azha. Enemy strength is roughly 104,274.
- Rescue Khol from his ship. Location: Azha.
- Bring Khol to Khitomer. Location: Khitomer.
The first four steps all take place in Azha. You look over the Retribution’s remains, find Starfleet already on the scene, and disable the engineer’s vessel. That fight is the only combat in the mission. Once it is disabled you pull Khol from his ship, and the final step is a jump to Khitomer to hand him over.

Scraps starts at warp 1 and needs warp 17 to complete. Azha holds four of the five objectives and Khitomer the last, so the route is a single trip out to Azha followed by one jump. There is no return to your station at the end.
The recommended level is listed as 1. The engineer’s vessel, at roughly 104,274 strength, is what actually sets the bar.

Completing Scraps also unlocks the next mission in the storyline.
What the faction changes mean
Scraps moves your standing toward the Klingonen and away from the Romulaner. The 2,000 Klingon Points outweigh the 1,600 Romulan Points you lose, and there is no choice split to avoid the penalty. Scraps compared with Biohazard
Biohazard is another Klingon-side mission with a Romulan cost, and the two make a useful comparison:

Scraps needs far less warp but asks for a fight. Biohazard has no combat but needs warp 48 and costs more Romulan standing.
Tips
Bring a combat ship to Azha. The engineer’s vessel is the only fight, but at over 100,000 strength it needs proper preparation.
Save the recruit tokens. Two hundred Ultra Recruit Tokens and 150 Premium Recruit Tokens is a solid haul for a five-step mission.
