Dark Space is a main storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command about exploring strange new worlds. Its single objective is to provide 10,000 G3 Raw Ore to open new warp paths. It needs only warp 1 to start and finish, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. No resource reward is listed for this mission. What it gives you is access: finishing it unlocks The Singularity, the next step of the main story.

Dark Space objectives

There is a single objective and no choice split:

  • Provide 10,000 G3 Raw Ore to open warp paths.

No system is named and no hostile is listed. The mission clears once the ore is handed over.

Where and what warp

Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. The only real requirement is having 10,000 G3 Raw Ore available.

Dark Space rewards

Dark Space lists no resource reward. Completing it unlocks The Singularity, where the story sends you to boldly go where no one has gone before.

Where it sits in the story

Mission Warp to complete What you do Rewards
The Primeval 40 Defeat a mysterious alien ship 50 Premium Recruit Tokens
Dark Space 1 Provide 10,000 G3 Raw Ore to open warp paths None listed
The Singularity 56 Boldly go where no one has gone before 4,275,000 Tritanium, 1,149,000 Dilithium
Loop 56 Investigate a possible localized temporal incursion 118,000 Officer XP, 150 Premium Recruit Tokens, 390 4★ Common Explorer Parts, 12 1 Hour Repair Speed Ups

Dark Space is the ore-for-access step that sits between two combat and exploration missions. The Singularity after it pays well, so the ore is worth spending.

Tips

Mine G3 Raw Ore before you reach this point in the story. 10,000 is the whole cost, and having it ready means the next mission opens straight away.

Plan for a warp jump afterwards. The Primeval before Dark Space needs warp 40, and The Singularity and Loop after it both need warp 56.

The full story order is on the main storyline missions page, and every mission by level is on the mission guide.
