A Sense of Frustration is a level 27 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you stop a Klingon assault. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 22 to complete, with the fight at Talmir-86 and a report to Commander Elix in Hann. The reward is 1,731,000 Parsteel and Federation reputation, and it unlocks Fire and Fury. It follows What Comes Next… when you take the Federation side there.
A Sense of Frustration objectives
Four objectives, no choice split:
- Find the Klingon Fleet. Location: Talmir-86.
- Disrupt Klingon fleets. Location: Talmir-86 (enemy strength about 204,300).
- Report back to Commander Elix. Location: Hann.
- Return to your Station.
You locate the Klingon fleet at Talmir-86 and break up its attack there. Commander Elix is waiting in Hann for your report, and the mission closes when you get back to your station.
Where and what warp
You can accept it at warp 1. Warp 22 is needed to complete it.
The recommended level is 27. The Klingon fleets at about 204,000 strength are the only fight.
The route is Talmir-86, then Hann, then home. Both steps at Talmir-86 are back to back, so you only need to go there once.

Fire and Fury drops the finish to warp 18, so range stops being a concern after this mission. The rest of this storyline is on the Business as Usual arc page.
Tips
Go into Talmir-86 repaired. The fight comes straight after you find the fleet, and it is the only combat in the mission.
The Parsteel is the main reward, and at level 27 1.7 million is a useful amount for building upgrades.
If you are building Klingon standing on the side, note that every Federation mission in this run takes Klingon Points away. By Any Means Necessary, a level 27 mission in the same arc, pays Klingon Points instead and moves reputation the other way.
This mission follows the Federation choice in the previous mission. Having picked that side, you are the one sent to blunt the Klingon push, and Commander Elix in Hann is the officer you report to. Fire and Fury carries the same conflict forward.
