Who Knows the Way? is a level 48 Klingon mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help a cartographer map deep space. Picked up in Annalu at warp 120, it sends you to map four systems, fight a raider at the last one, and head home. It needs warp 160 to complete, and the raider is listed at about 7.48 million strength. The reward is 28 4★ Rare Refined Crystal, 700 Klingon Credits and a very large Klingon reputation swing, paid for with heavy Romulan and Federation losses.
Who Knows the Way? objectives
Six objectives, no choice split:
- Map the Er’Tama system. Location: Er’Tama.
- Map Dohrmas. Location: Dohrmas.
- Map Neo’Tek. Location: Neo’Tek.
- Map Shan Mhna’Tir. Location: Shan Mhna’Tir.
- Defeat the raider. Location: Shan Mhna’Tir. Enemy strength is roughly 7,482,395.
- Return to your Station.
The first four steps are a mapping tour. You visit Er’Tama, Dohrmas, Neo’Tek and Shan Mhna’Tir in turn. At the last stop a raider attacks, and at around 7.48 million strength it is the only fight. Once it is beaten, return to your station to finish.
Where and what warp
Who Knows the Way? is picked up in Annalu, which needs warp 120. Completing it needs warp 160 to reach every system on the mapping route. The recommended level is 48.

Who Knows the Way? has the easiest fight of the three and is the only one paying Rare rather than Uncommon crystal. Undying Spirit starts in Dohrmas, one of the systems you map here.
Tips
Think hard about the reputation cost. Losing 1,350,000 Romulan Points in one mission is a very large hit, and 300,000 Federation Points go with it. This mission suits players who are fully committed to the Klingons.
Ship strength only matters at the end. The four mapping steps have no listed fights, so the raider at Shan Mhna’Tir is the one combat check, and it is worth arriving at full health.
