Unattainable is a Klingon story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which a meeting with the Federation about a peace treaty turns into a fight. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 17 to complete, with two fights in Lorillia against an Andorian escort and a Vulcan peacekeeping vessel, each about 100,000 strength. The reward is 502,000 Parsteel, 27 1 Hour Speed Ups, 130 Klingon Credits and 2,000 Klingon Points, and it unlocks the next mission, Backlash.
Unattainable objectives
The story line reads: meet with the Federation to discuss a peace treaty. There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Meet with the USS Mayflower in Lorillia. Location: Lorillia.
- Destroy the Andorian escort vessel. Location: Lorillia. Enemy strength about 101,520.
- Defeat the Vulcan Peacekeeping vessel. Location: Lorillia. Enemy strength about 102,720.
- Retreat to Khitomer. Location: Khitomer.
The meeting with the USS Mayflower does not go to plan. You fight the Andorian escort and then the Vulcan peacekeeper in Lorillia, and the mission ends with a retreat to Khitomer.
Where and what warp
The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 17 to complete. Lorillia is where the talks and both fights happen, and Khitomer is where you end up.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The two fights, each a little over 100,000 strength, are the real test.

All three stay at warp 17 and pay the same Klingon Credits and Points, with the same small Romulan loss. What changes is the main reward: recruit tokens, then Parsteel and speed ups, then interceptor parts and Dilithium.
Tips
Bring a combat ship. The two fights are back to back in Lorillia, with the Vulcan vessel slightly stronger than the Andorian escort.
Repair between them if the first fight hurt. The retreat to Khitomer has no fight, so you can finish on a damaged ship once both are down.
The 27 1 Hour Speed Ups are the most flexible part of the reward. They add up to 27 hours and can go on any building or research timer. The mission’s Klingon Credits and Points count toward your standing with the Klingons. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
