To the Edge of the Universe is an early Star Trek Fleet Command mission, recommended for level 4, in which a Klingon ship has been attacked by the Dissidents and needs your help. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 5 to finish, with stops in Melvara and Flok. You assist the Hegh’ta, donate 100 Parsteel and head to the Dissidents’ last known location. The reward is 110 Tritanium, and the mission unlocks the next part of the chain. There is no fight in it.
To the Edge of the Universe objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Find and assist the Hegh’ta on Zihaf. Location: Melvara.
- Donate 100 Parsteel to the Hegh’ta.
- Go to the Dissident’s last known location. Location: Flok.
The first step takes you to the planet Zihaf in the Melvara system, where the Hegh’ta is waiting. The second step is a small donation of 100 Parsteel to help the Klingon ship. The last step sends you on to Flok, the Dissidents’ last known location, and the mission ends there.
None of the three objectives is combat. The Dissidents are the reason for the mission, but this part only asks you to find where they went.
Where and what warp
Warp is 1 to start and 5 to complete. Melvara and Flok are the two named systems, and warp 5 covers both.
The recommended level is 4. With no combat and only a 100 Parsteel cost, warp 5 is the only real requirement.
The mission ends in Flok rather than at your station, since the final objective is reaching the Dissidents’ last known location.
To the Edge of the Universe rewards
The only reward is 110 Tritanium. Completing the mission also unlocks the next part of the chain, which is the main reason to run it.

All four finish at warp 5. To the Edge of the Universe is the only one of them with a donation step, and its reward is the smallest of the group.
Tips
Keep 100 Parsteel on hand. It is a tiny cost, but the donation is the second objective, and the mission waits on it before sending you to Flok.
Send any ship with warp 5 range. Nothing in the mission is a fight, so there is no need to use your combat ship.
Run it for the chain rather than the loot. The 110 Tritanium barely covers anything, but finishing the mission opens the next part of the chain.
Plan to bring the ship home yourself. The mission ends out in Flok. Every other mission, sorted by level, is on the mission guide.
