Power Up is a main storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that asks you to earn a Commendation of Rank VI with your allied faction. The objective is completed in the store, so there is no travel and no fight, and the mission needs only warp 1. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is ten 1M Parsteel Tokens, and finishing it unlocks The Primeval.

Power Up objectives

One objective, no choice split:

  • Earn a Commendation Rank VI in the store.

No system is named and no hostile is listed. The mission completes once you hold a Rank VI Commendation with the faction you are allied to.

Where and what warp

Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to finish, with no pickup system. The recommended level is listed as 1. The real requirement is the Commendation itself, which you earn in the store with your allied faction.

Power Up rewards

The reward is ten 1M Parsteel Tokens. Completing Power Up also unlocks the next main storyline mission.

Power Up and the missions around it

Mission Warp to complete Story Rewards
Invaluable Asset 40 Work with your chosen faction in the galactic war 10,000,000 Parsteel, 100,000 Officer XP and 50 3★ Rare refined materials, with gas, ore or crystal depending on your faction
Power Up 1 Earn a Rank VI Commendation with your allied faction 10 1M Parsteel Token
The Primeval 40 Defeat a mysterious alien ship 50 Premium Recruit Token

Invaluable Asset has a separate path for each faction: the Federation path pays refined gas, the Romulan path refined ore and the Klingon path refined crystal. Power Up then asks you to deepen that same alliance before the storyline moves on to The Primeval.

Tips

Check the store for your Commendation rank before you reach this mission, so you know how far off Rank VI is. The Commendation is tied to your allied faction, and the Federation, Klingon and Romulan faction pages list each faction’s missions.

The 1M Parsteel Tokens are named for a million Parsteel each, so the reward is worth about 10 million Parsteel. For the order of story missions see the main storyline missions, and the mission guide lists every mission by level.
