The Rogue Transwarp Cell for Mitchum

Mitchum is one of three Rogue systems that need a Rogue Transwarp Cell to enter. All three are level 29, and each has a different 3★ mine: Doniphon has 3★ Raw Ore, Van Cleef has 3★ Raw Crystal and Mitchum has 3★ Raw Gas. The other eight Rogue systems have no entry cost.

So the cell only matters if you want the 3★ Raw Gas node. The Exchange Transports in Mitchum (levels 27 to 32) are the same ones you can shoot in Kuzukoh, which has no entry cost.

There are several kinds of transwarp cell, and each gated system asks for a specific one. Yoria-3 needs an Uncommon Latinum Transwarp Cell, for example, and Hox needs a G5 Dominion Transwarp Cell, so check the cell name before you set course.

Exchange Transports in Mitchum

Every hostile that spawns in Mitchum is an Exchange Transport, an Eclipse survey ship. Each kill drops Eclipse Security Codes, and the payout climbs steeply with level. The code ranges below are per kill, before any loot bonuses.

Level Hull Strength Eclipse Security Codes
27 Survey 1,153,569 10 to 26
28 Survey 1,445,500 25 to 36
29 Survey 1,737,427 40 to 46
30 Survey 2,241,534 50 to 61
31 Survey 2,745,640 80 to 91
32 Survey 3,329,393 110 to 136

Eclipse Security Codes are spent in the Rogue Faction Store, the store tied to Harry Mudd and his Rogues. If you farm these ships often, the Stella is built for it: its Master Thief ability raises the rewards you get from Eclipse hostiles, from 200% at ship level 1 up to 600% at level 45.

Mining in Mitchum

Resource Nodes Base rate per hour Node size
3★ Raw Gas 1 450 27,000

Up to 10 mining nodes can be active in Mitchum at once. The node is small: at the base rate of 450 per hour, 27,000 Raw Gas is 60 hours of mining.

Planets in Mitchum

Mitchum has 3 named planets: Mitchum Beta, Mitchum Alpha and Mitchum Delta. Unlike Leone, Tombstone or Kuzukoh, it has no player housing containers.

Other Rogue star systems

The Rogue faction holds 11 star systems, all at warp 24 and all patrolled by Exchange Transports. They differ by level, by mine and by whether you need a Rogue Transwarp Cell.

Is Mitchum worth the trip?

Only if you need 3★ Raw Gas and have a Rogue Transwarp Cell to spend. The node is small, and the Exchange Transports here are the same level 27 to 32 spread you get in Kuzukoh for free. For Eclipse Security Codes alone, Kuzukoh or Wallach is the better stop.
