Mass Destruction is a Klingon storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you ambush a Starfleet agent, raid a Starbase in Koltiska and carry stolen plans to Khitomer. The game lists a recommended level of 1; it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 19 to finish. The Starfleet Battleship at about 293,839 strength is far tougher than anything else in this stretch. The reward is 110 3★ Battleship Parts, 56,000 Tritanium, 100 Klingon Credits and 1,000 Klingon Points, and it unlocks No Retribution.
Mass Destruction objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Ambush the Starfleet agent in Aruna. Location: Aruna (enemy strength ~53,959).
- Take the agent to a remote planet. Location: Bharani.
- Find the Starbase in Koltiska. Location: Koltiska.
- Defeat the Starfleet Battleship. Location: Koltiska (enemy strength ~293,839).
- Bring the plans to Khitomer. Location: Khitomer.
You ambush the Starfleet agent in Aruna and take the captive to a remote planet in Bharani. That leads you to a Starbase in Koltiska, where a Starfleet Battleship defends it. Once it is beaten, the plans go to Khitomer.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 19 to complete, with no pickup system. The route crosses four systems: Aruna, Bharani, Koltiska and Khitomer.
The Starfleet Battleship is the real requirement, at roughly five times the strength of the agent you ambush first.

Every other named enemy in this run sits between about 44,000 and 75,000 strength. The Battleship in Koltiska is about four times the strength of the USS Retribution you hunt down next, which makes Mass Destruction the hardest fight in this stretch of the story.
Tips
Repair before Koltiska. The agent ambush in Aruna is a light fight, but the Battleship is a big step up, and you reach it after two other stops.
The 110 3★ Battleship Parts are the reward to care about if you fly a Battleship. The Tritanium is a modest extra.
