Void Beyond the Stars is a level 60 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that follows the collapse of the Quantum Vacuum. You return to the Vacuum Epicenter to study the void left behind and run into a Starfleet test of an experimental drone ship, the USS Daedalus. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 205 to complete. There are three objectives and no fights, and the reward is 5,000 Latinum and 170 5★ Gemeinsame Explorer Parts. It is a short story step between The Edge of Existence and Escalation.
Void Beyond the Stars objectives
With VESTA’s sacrifice the Quantum Vacuum has collapsed, and a void remains where it used to be. Your officer suspects it is a tear in space, and Montgomery Scott reported life signs inside it, which could mean a window to another galaxy. At the Epicenter your sensors show rising dark matter density, then a Starfleet ship with no crew aboard.
- Investigate the Void. Location: Vakuum-Epizentrum.
- Inspect the Daedalus. Location: Vacuum Epicenter.
- Speak with Admiral Tchezky. Location: Vacuum Epicenter.
The Daedalus turns out to be one of Starfleet’s experimental drone starships. Starfleet rules require an officer to stay within a light year of any drone, which leads you to a second ship nearby commanded by Admiral Tchezky. He is preparing to send the Daedalus into the void and invites you to help with the autonomous piloting. Your officer calls the plan risky, and the admiral dismisses the concern.
All three objectives are in the same system, and there is no choice split.

You can accept the mission at warp 1 from anywhere, with no pickup system listed. Completing it needs warp 205, the range to reach the Vacuum Epicenter. Once you are there, the rest of the mission happens without another jump. The recommended level is 60.

This is the only one of the three that sends you anywhere, so the warp 205 trip is the whole cost of this step.
Tips
There is no combat, so any ship with the range can finish it, including a survey or explorer hull. Send whatever ship is free that can make warp 205.
The Explorer Parts are the reason to care. This step pays 170 5★ Common Explorer Parts, and the next step, Escalation, adds 200 5★ Uncommon Explorer Parts once your Operations reaches level 61.
