Denial is a main storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you try to get medical help from Starfleet for an injured colonist. You meet a Starfleet Commander in Miers and bring them to the colonist in Odin, but the meeting ends in a fight with the Commander, and you finish by taking the colonist to safety in Farnham. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 160 to complete. The reward is 210,000,000 Parsteel and eight 8 Hour Speed Ups, and finishing it unlocks Last Resort.

Denial objectives

There are four objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:

  • Meet with the Starfleet Commander. Location: Miers.
  • Bring the Commander to the colonist. Location: Odin.
  • Defeat the Starfleet Commander. Location: Odin. Enemy strength is roughly 8,177,045.
  • Bring the colonist to safety. Location: Farnham.

The Commander you escort to Odin is the same one you have to defeat there. It is the only fight in the mission.

Wo und welcher Warp

You can accept Denial at warp 1, but the route through Miers, Odin and Farnham needs warp 160. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The real bar is that warp range and a Starfleet Commander at about 8.2 million strength.

The game lists Federation Patrols, Peacekeepers, a Federation Scout and two Klingonisch Hunters in Miers at level 46 to 52, Fearless Bandits and Independent Traders in Odin at level 43 to 49, and Reckless Bandits in Farnham at level 45 to 51. None of them are mission targets.

Denial rewards

Belohnung Amount
Parsteel 210,000,000
8 Hour Speed Up 8

Completing it unlocks Letzte Zuflucht, where you investigate the colonist’s ship.

The colonist missions

Denial is the third of four linked Missionen about the colonist survivor.

Mission Warp zum Abschließen Story Belohnungen
Shellshocked 150 Find the colonist survivor 80 4★ Ungewöhnlich Explorer Parts, 16 1 Hour Repair Speed Ups
Diagnose 135 Find Dantak’s doctor 34 4★ Seltene Refined Ore, 130 4★ Uncommon Refined Ore
Verweigerung 160 Get medical help from Starfleet 210,000,000 Parsteel, 8 8 Hour Speed Ups
Letzte Zuflucht 160 Investigate the colonist’s ship 12,090,000 Dilithium, 500 Ultra Recruit Tokens

Denial pays by far the most Parsteel of the four and is the first to need warp 160.

Tips

Go into Odin at full health. You fly the Commander there yourself, so there is no warm-up before the 8.2 million strength fight.

The eight 8 Hour Speed Ups add up to 64 hours, and the Parsteel is a large boost for building upgrades at this stage. Last Resort also needs warp 160, so once Denial is done you can move straight on. The full story order is on the main storyline missions .
