Diagnosis is a main storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you look for Dantak’s doctor. You meet the doctor in LSP-539, bring the doctor to the colonist, track down a Seller in Hilo, defeat a mercenary there, pay 2 million Dilithium and return to your station. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 135 to complete. The reward is 130 4★ Ungewöhnlich Refined Ore and 34 4★ Seltene Refined Ore, and finishing it unlocks Denial.
Diagnosis objectives
There are six objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Treffen mit the doctor. Standort: LSP-539.
- Bring the doctor to see the colonist.
- Find the Seller. Location: Hilo.
- Defeat the mercenary. Location: Hilo. Enemy strength is roughly 8,452,336.
- Donate 2,000,000 Dilithium.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
The mercenary in Hilo is the only fight, and the Dilithium payment comes straight after it. No location is listed for the colonist visit.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept Diagnosis at warp 1, but LSP-539 and Hilo need warp 135. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The real requirements are that warp range, a mercenary at about 8.45 million strength and 2 million spare Dilithium.
The game lists Scouting Bandits and Independent Traders in LSP-539 at level 44 to 50, and Reckless Bandits and Independent Traders in Hilo at level 43 to 49. None of them are mission targets.

Diagnosis is the second of four linked Missionen about the colonist survivor.

Diagnosis has the lowest warp of the four, but the next two both need warp 160, so check your range before moving on.
Tips
Have the 2 million Dilithium ready before you reach Hilo. The donation comes right after the mercenary fight, and the mission waits there until you pay.
Repair before taking on the mercenary. At about 8.45 million strength it is slightly stronger than the Starfleet Commander you face in Denial, so it is a good test of whether your ship is ready for the next step.
