Prodigal Son is a Klingon storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, part of the Arkonian storyline, where you retrieve a Loyalist prisoner and bring him back to Arkonia. The prisoner is held in Garyb, and you have to beat an Arkonian Rebel and an Arkonianischer Kapitän, both near 2 million strength, before taking him to B’Oh. It needs warp 70 to complete and lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 320 Ultra Recruit Tokens, four 1 day speed ups and Klingonisch faction rewards.
Prodigal Son objectives
Four objectives across two systems, no choice split:
- Retrieve a Loyalist prisoner. Location: Garyb.
- Defeat the Arkonian Rebel. Location: Garyb (enemy strength about 1,969,977).
- Defeat the Arkonian Captain. Location: Garyb (enemy strength about 1,950,820).
- Bring the prisoner back to Loyalist space. Location: B'Oh.
Everything except the delivery happens in Garyb. You collect the prisoner, then fight the Arkonian Rebel and the Arkonian Captain one after the other; the two are almost exactly the same strength. With both beaten, you take the prisoner to B’Oh in Loyalist space.
Wo und welcher Warp
There is no pickup system. Prodigal Son starts at warp 1 after Pledge of Loyalty and needs warp 70 to complete. The recommended level is listed as 1, but two fights near 2 million strength and the warp 70 range are the real bar.

The Romulan Points figure is negative, so it is a deduction rather than a gain. Completing Prodigal Son also unlocks the next Arkonian mission.

The storyline began with Ehre dein Wort, which asks you to ensure the Arkonian Oligarchy’s loyalty to the Klingon Empire. Prodigal Son and Under Heel pay the same Klingon faction rewards, and all three Missionen here share warp 70. Later in the same storyline, Beschaffungsspezialist moves up to warp 105.
Tips
Repair between the two Garyb fights. They are back to back and nearly identical in strength, so the second is as hard as the first.
