Upgrade Shipyard: Level 4 is one of the early station missions in Star Trek Fleet Command. It has a single objective, raising the Shipyard to level 4, and it pays 100 Tritanium. It needs only warp 1 to start and finish, and the game lists a recommended level of 1, so the building upgrade is the only real requirement. Finishing it unlocks Construct Tritanium Generator A. It is a small reward for an upgrade you will make anyway on the way to better ships.
Upgrade Shipyard: Level 4 objectives
The story line explains why the building matters: upgrade the Shipyard to gain access to new and more powerful ships. There is one objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade Shipyard to Level 4.
No system is named, no hostile is listed and nothing is donated. The mission completes the moment the Shipyard reaches level 4.
Wo und welcher Warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. Everything happens on your station.
The recommended level is listed as 1. What decides when you can finish it is the upgrade itself, and that depends on your Parsteel and on the Shipyard’s own building requirements.
Upgrade Shipyard: Level 4 rewards
The mission pays 100 Tritanium. Completing it also unlocks the next mission in the station chain, Construct Tritanium Generator A.
What the Shipyard does at this stage
The Shipyard unlocks once Operations reaches level 5 and the R&D Department reaches level 4. Each upgrade raises two bonuses by the same amount: Ship Construction Speed and Tier Up Speed. Both start at 3% at Shipyard level 2 and reach 6% at level 5, so level 4 sits just below that step.
The next upgrade gives a sense of scale. Shipyard level 5 costs 1,750 Parsteel, takes 26 minutes to build, and needs Operations 6 and F&E-Abteilung 5. Early levels are cheap and quick, which is why this part of the station chain moves fast.
Shipyard 4 also gates other Gebäude. Die Raffinerie and the Scrapyard both require Shipyard 4, along with Operations 4, for their own level 4.
How Level 4 compares with nearby steps
The early Shipyard Missionen each pay a little more Tritanium than the one before. Current game data:
| Mission | Tritanium |
|---|---|
| Upgrade Schiffswerft: Stufe 3 | 75 |
| Upgrade Schiffswerft: Stufe 4 | 100 |
| Upgrade Schiffswerft: Stufe 5 | 125 |
| Upgrade Schiffswerft: Stufe 6 | 150 |
The steps are 25 Tritanium apart through these levels. None of these early Shipyard missions pays repair speed ups; that is left to the Operations missions around them.
Tips
Follow the mission chain rather than jumping ahead. The station missions in this range walk you through buildings in an order that keeps requirements met, and each one hands you a small top-up for the next.
Use the Tritanium early. At this stage 100 Tritanium goes straight toward the next few upgrades that ask for it, including Operations 7, which costs 70 Tritanium and 2,000 Parsteel.
Die Mission davor ist Upgrade der Operationen auf Stufe 6, und die nächste ist Tritanium-Generator A konstruieren. Other missions sorted by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
