Unflinching is a Borg story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help defend Klingon space. A Klingonisch distress signal takes you to Yadow, where a Borg ship of about 347,055 strength is waiting, and after the fight you head home. The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 18 to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but the Borg ship is the real test. The reward is 110 3★ Explorer Parts and 125 3★ Common Refined Gas, and completing it unlocks Two Sides of the Coin.
Unflinching objectives
Three objectives with no choice split:
- Respond to the Klingon distress signal. Location: Yadow.
- Defeat the Borg ship. Location: Yadow. Enemy strength is roughly 347,055.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
It is a short mission. You answer the distress call in Yadow, fight the Borg ship there, and fly home. The Borg ship is the only combat, so the mission is really one fight with a trip on either side.

The recommended level is listed as 1. A combat ship that can beat a Borg ship of about 347,055 strength is the practical requirement.

The Borg ship here and the Romulan Officer in Two Sides of the Coin share the same strength, so a ship that wins in Yadow is ready for the next fight too. Two Sides of the Coin then has you rally the factions against the Borg by speaking with the Romulans and appealing to Starfleet.
A familiar reward
Unflinching pays the same 125 3★ Common Refined Gas as Hinter verschlossenen Türen, another Borg mission, and nearly the same Explorer parts (110 here against 140 there). Behind Closed Doors has the lighter fight, a Borg Probe of about 296,419.
Tips
Go in at full hull. The Borg ship is the only thing between you and the reward, and at about 347,055 it is a serious fight for this part of the story.
Save the Explorer parts for your explorer and the 3★ refined gas for building upgrades that ask for it.
