Acquisitions is a Federation storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. You acquire a newly built experimental vessel from a Föderation shipyard by getting its ship plans and delivering them to the Trinity Council. The game lists a recommended level of 1, it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 160 to complete. You choose to pay a Starfleet informant 5,000,000 Tritanium or intimidate him in a fight, and the rewards differ sharply. It unlocks Smoke Testing.
Acquisitions objectives
The mission opens with a shared step:
- Meet with the Starfleet informant. Location: Yarega.
- Choose how to deal with the informant.
Pay the informant
- Pay the informant 5,000,000 Tritanium for the location of the ship plans.
- Retrieve the ship plans from the R&D Lab on Riannon. Location: New Reykjavik.
- Deliver the ship plans to the Trinity Council on Ireth Elendil. Location: Kayla.
Rewards: 1,300 Ultra Recruit Tokens, 600 Federation Credits, 538,000 Federation Points, -890,928 Klingonisch Points, -197,984 Romulan Points.
Intimidate the informant
- Intimidate the contact and get the location of the ship plans. Location: Yarega (enemy strength about 5,649,811).
- Retrieve the ship plans from the R&D Lab on Riannon. Location: New Reykjavik.
- Deliver the ship plans to the Trinity Council on Ireth Elendil. Location: Kayla.
Rewards: 114,750,000 Parsteel, 18 1M Tritanium Tokens, 600 Federation Credits, 538,000 Federation Points, -890,928 Klingon Points.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept it at warp 1. Warp 160 is needed to complete it, since Yarega, New Reykjavik and Kayla are all far out.
The listed recommended level is 1. Warp 160 is the main bar, and on the intimidation path you also need to beat a ship at about 5.6 million strength.
Acquisitions rewards
| Choice | Belohnungen |
|---|---|
| Pay | 1,300 Ultra Recruit Tokens, 600 Federation Credits, 538,000 Federation Points |
| Intimidate | 114,750,000 Parsteel, 18 1M Tritanium Tokens, 600 Federation Credits, 538,000 Federation Points |
Both paths also cost 890,928 Klingon Points; the paying path costs 197,984 Romulanisch Points as well. Either path unlocks Smoke Testing.
Missions before and after
Der Dreifaltigkeitsrat comes first, picked up in Alea at warp 120 and finishing at warp 130. Rauchtest follows at warp 120 and pays 4★ refined ore and crystal plus 700 Federation Credits.
Tips
The intimidation path is the stronger payout for most players. Going by their name, the 18 1M Tritanium Tokens come to 18 million Tritanium, far more than the 5 million you would pay the informant, and you get 114.75 million Parsteel on top. Pay only if you want the Ultra Recruit Tokens or cannot win the fight.
Both paths share the last two steps, so the fight in Yarega is the only difference in effort.
