Securities is a level 67 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, picked up in Milagriean. Centurion Nansail sends you after a research ship that stopped moving while carrying weapon blueprints, and you end up choosing whether to return the blueprints or destroy them. It needs warp 1400 to start and to complete, includes one fight, and pays 15,000 Σ-Parsteel, Romulan reputation and either Iso-emulsion or a Σ-Repair Speed Up depending on your choice. The choice also decides Nansail’s fate.

Securities objectives

Four steps come before the split:

  • Get to the last known ship’s location. Location: Pteria-212.
  • Use the device’s coordinates to find the thief. Location: Lifear.
  • Defeat the thief. Location: Lifear.
  • Should we tamper with the blueprints? (choice split)

The research ship in Pteria-212 is wrecked with no survivors. Its tracking device logs show it was hailed by someone the crew trusted and given new coordinates just before it was destroyed. You follow them to Lifear, where the thief refuses to hand the blueprints over. The thief’s ship is listed at about 9.15 billion strength.

The recovered blueprints are for a weapon of mass destruction, and your crew spots coded messages and deliberate errors that could be used to frame whoever returns them. It could also be a loyalty test. You decide.

Return the blueprints

  • Return the blueprints. Location: Milagriean.

Rewards: 15,000 Σ-Parsteel, 29,000 Iso-emulsion, 3,800 Romulan Credits, 184,000,000 Romulan Points, -197,248,000 Klingonisch Points, -295,872,000 Federation Points.

Destroy the blueprints

  • Return to Centurion Nansail. Location: Milagriean.

Rewards: 15,000 Σ-Parsteel, one 1 Hour Σ-Repair Speed Up, 3,800 Romulan Credits, 184,000,000 Romulan Points, -197,248,000 Klingon Points, -295,872,000 Federation Points.

Either way, a Tal Shiar ship decloaks and reveals the whole thing was a test of Nansail. If you returned the blueprints, Nansail is recruited into the Tal Shiar. If you destroyed them and reported them lost, Nansail is judged to have failed, and the Tal Shiar agent sends you on your way.

Wo und welcher Warp

Securities is picked up in Milagriean and ends there. The route runs through Pteria-212 and Lifear. Both the start and the finish need warp 1400, and the recommended level is 67.

Securities rewards by path

Choice Shared rewards Extra reward
Return the blueprints 15,000 Σ-Parsteel, 3,800 Romulan Credits, Romulan reputation 29,000 Iso-emulsion
Destroy the blueprints 15,000 Σ-Parsteel, 3,800 Romulan Credits, Romulan reputation 1 1 Hour Σ-Repair Speed Up

No follow-up part is unlocked.

Tips

The only difference in rewards is the extra item. Returning the blueprints pays 29,000 Iso-emulsion, which is worth more to most players than a single one-hour repair speed up.

The thief in Lifear is the only fight, at about 9.15 billion strength. The objectives after it are a trip back to Milagriean, so damage from that fight will not stop you.

Both paths give the same reputation: 184 million Romulan Points, with about 197 million Klingon Points and 296 million Federation Points lost. See Fraktionsruf, the Romulanisch page, and the mission guide for more at this level.
