Ruby Run is a short early mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help Alena get her research notes and materials to Risa. It is picked up in Fostaa or Imgra, needs warp 5 to start and finish, and has a recommended level of 10. After the delivery you fight off Beavat’s Enforcer at about 1,900 strength. The reward is 1,000 Parsteel, which makes this a quick top-up rather than a mission to plan around.
Ruby Run objectives

You carry Alena’s research to Risa, where Beavat’s Enforcer is waiting. Beating it completes the mission, and there is no return-to-station step.
Because the delivery and the fight are both in Risa, the whole mission is a single trip out from Fostaa or Imgra. The Enforcer is the only thing that can hold you up, so a ship that can win that fight finishes the mission in one run.

Beavat’s Enforcer at about 1,927 strength is the only fight, and a combat ship at level 10 should handle it without trouble.

Among the resource missions, Retrieval pays six times as much Parsteel as Ruby Run for a slightly harder fight and more travel. Ruby Run is the fastest of the group, with a single stop and a weak enemy.
Tips
Use your combat ship. The Enforcer fight comes straight after the delivery, so the ship that carries the research has to win it.
Pick up the other Fostaa and Imgra missions at the same time. Three of them pay Lucia Gonzales shards, so the set is worth running together.
Keep the Parsteel moving. At level 10, 1,000 Parsteel goes straight into the next generator or warehouse upgrade, and Retrieval from the same systems adds another 6,000 if you run it too.
