Ripples is a three-part mission chain in which the Vulcan historian Professor T’lir asks you to find her colleague Nirang, who has gone back in time to stop Erster Kontakt between Vulcans and humans. All three parts are recommended for level 55. The chain starts at warp 1, Parts 1 and 3 need warp 185 to complete and Part 2 needs warp 47. The rewards are led by 16,151,667,000 Parsteel in Part 1, and Part 3 adds 2,000 Federation Recruit Tokens and 50 Borg-Sphäre Parts. It is a short chain with light fights and two resource payments.

Ripples Part 1
Help Professor T’lir find Nirang. At T’lir’s research station you find the remains of a dismantled Borg Probe, and Nirang’s ion trail ends in Baelos with no sign of her ship. Repairing her device opens an unstable temporal vortex, and you follow her through it.

Ripples Part 2
Capture Nirang before she alters the past. She is waiting near Sol to intercept the Vulcan survey ship T’Plana-Hath, and when you get ahead of her she has drawn a group of Arkonian ships who mistake her for its crew.
- Capture Nirang, in Sol.
- Get ahead of Nirang, in Yoruba.
- Protect Nirang from Arkonians, in Yoruba (enemy strength ~28,524,865).
- Break the Arkonians’ formation, in Yoruba (enemy strength ~28,524,865).
- Stop Nirang, in Yoruba (enemy strength ~29,678,595).
You have to protect Nirang from the Arkonians before you can stop her yourself, so this part holds three fights in a row. Warp to complete: 47.
Rewards: 1,773,334,000 Tritanium, 170 5★ Gemeinsame Refined Gas, 11 4 Hour Assignment Speed Up.
Ripples Part 3
Return with Nirang to the current time. Before you go, you shadow the T’Plana-Hath unseen to make sure history plays out, and you watch it pick up a warp signal from Earth and prepare for First Contact.
- Hide your ship’s activity from T’Plana-Hath with 8B Parsteel.
- Accompany T’Plana-Hath, in Sol.
- Return to your time, in Baelos.

Tips for completing Ripples
Two payments decide how fast you finish: 50K 5★ Gas in Part 1 and 8B Parsteel at the start of Part 3. The Parsteel is easy to cover since Part 1 pays out more than 16 billion, but the 5★ Gas may need a trip to a mining node first.
All four fights are light for level 55, listed at between about 28.5 million and 29.7 million strength. The three in Part 2 come back to back in Yoruba, so start that part with a repaired ship.
Part 2 is the short hop at warp 47. Parts 1 and 3 both reach warp 185.
Are the Ripples rewards worth it?
Yes. Three short parts return about 16.2 billion Parsteel, 1.77 billion Tritanium, 351 million Dilithium, 5★ refined Ore, Gas and Crystal, 2,000 Federation Recruit Tokens and 50 Borg Sphere Parts.
