Outbreak is a five-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain about getting an inter-dimensional virus under control. Working from Section 31’s research, the crew deals with Nareen’s reaction to the plan, searches for synths, recovers Captain Smith and the patients from Sendisez, shares the research with the synths and the Ex-Borg, and finally looks for funding. Every part is recommended for level 75 and starts at warp 1; warp to complete is 3,000 for Part 2 and 3,500 for the rest. The chain pays 7,354,000 Latinum, 1,573,000 Σ-Parsteel, 400 Ultra Recruit Tokens, 320,000 Officer XP and 7★ Ungewöhnlich parts and refined resources. It is a long but light chain with a large Latinum payout.

Completing one part opens the next, and finishing Part 5 unlocks the follow-up mission Midnight Oil. Parts 1 and 5 have choice splits, and both paths in each pay the same rewards. No part pays or costs faction points.
Outbreak Part 1
The crew needs a way to get the inter-dimensional virus under control. After reviewing the Section 31 research you meet the crew in Oscuma and clear hostiles, and then Nareen tries to escape in a pod.

Prevent Nareen’s escape
You beam Nareen into the brig so she cannot take the news to the Order, then go looking for synths.

Let Yalika handle it

Outbreak Part 2
The crew goes in search of synths. In Baerhia you answer a hail, fight off an attack and retrieve some Daten, which points you to Draxolei for a scan.

Outbreak Part 3
You need to convince the synths to help. Alexis leads you to them in Maphomia, you donate Σ-Parsteel to help them, and the crew sets course for Sendisez to recover Captain Smith, the research and the patients.

Section 31’s research goes to the synths. Bandits are waiting in Maphomia, and once the cargo is delivered and analyzed you take the findings to the Ex-Borg in Ch’urux Qorva.
- Return to the synths (Maphomia).
- Defeat the bandits (Maphomia, enemy strength ~31,548,548,760,664).
- Deliver the cargo (Maphomia).
- Analyze the research (Maphomia).
- Proceed to Ch’urux Qorva (Ch’urux Qorva).
- Meet with the Ex-Borg (Ch’urux Qorva).
Warp to complete: 3,500. Rewards: 240 7★ Uncommon Interceptor Parts, 240 7★ Uncommon Battleship Parts and 1,778,000 Latinum.
Outbreak Part 5
Costs are rising, and the crew looks for funding. After a fight in Cerazsia and a meeting with the Ferengi in Rey’Kyav, you reach the facility in Ugnardan and decide how to protect it from bandits.
- Return to the synths (Maphomia).

- Meet with the Ferengi (Rey’Kyav).
- Proceed to Ugnardan (Ugnardan).

Tips for completing Outbreak
Combat is light throughout. Every named fight sits between about 31.5 and 32.6 trillion strength, and there are only four or five of them depending on your Part 1 choice. The larger time sinks are the hostile grinds: 10 hostiles of level 75 or higher in Part 1, and another 10 in Part 5 if you choose to clear the system.
Both choices trade fighting for spending. In Part 1, preventing Nareen’s escape adds a Romulan ship fight, while letting Yalika handle it costs 50K Σ-Dilithium. In Part 5, clearing the system is a hostile grind, while investing in defences costs 100K Σ-Tritanium. Part 3 also needs 500K Σ-Parsteel, which Part 5 more than repays with 1,573,000.

Are the Outbreak rewards worth it?
Yes. The 7,354,000 Latinum across Parts 1 and 4 is the standout, and Part 5 adds 400 Ultra Recruit Tokens, 320,000 Officer XP and 1,573,000 Σ-Parsteel. The rest is 7★ uncommon parts for four ship types, 7★ uncommon refined Ressourcen, 290,000 Σ-Tritanium, 50,000 Σ-Dilithium, 4,000 Trait XP and repair speed ups.
