More Than Flying is a five-part Strange New Worlds chain that recalls Ortegas from shore leave on Risa to investigate a kidnapping, then takes you into Klingon space to find a missing Ambassador. All five parts are recommended for level 34, and warp to complete runs from 19 to 38. The officer rewards are SNW Nurse Chapel shards in Part 1 and SNW Erica Ortegas shards in Part 4. Part 2 is the big payout, with over 9 million each of Tritanium, Parsteel and Dilithium. There are no donations anywhere in the chain.

More Than Flying Part 1
Ortegas is on shore leave at Risa, flying a prototype around the sun and visiting a tattoo artist, when Pike calls her back. The trip continues to Losti and ends at a rendezvous with the Enterprise in Hann.

More Than Flying Part 2
The search needs the Klingonisch High Council’s help. You request access in Hann, fight your way through Pekka and head for Kronos.

- Defeat 10 hostiles of level 33 or higher.
- Head for the Klingon High Council (Kronos).

More Than Flying Part 3
You stand before the High Council, consult the Klingon records and take the search deeper into Klingon space at Beta Penthe, where you clear 10 hostiles.

- Fly to the Beta Penthe system.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of level 33 or higher.

More Than Flying Part 4
The trail leads to a rogue Klingon faction in Carraya. Two Klingon vessels bracket your infiltration of their base, and you beam Pike and the Ambassador back aboard.
- Travel to the Carraya system.
- Defeat Klingon vessel (Carraya, enemy strength ~431,670).
- Infiltrate the rogue Klingon base (Carraya).
- Defeat Klingon vessel (Carraya, enemy strength ~431,670).
- Beam Pike and the Ambassador back aboard (Carraya).
Warp to complete: 27. Rewards: SNW Erica Ortegas shards, 227,000 Dilithium and 1,135,000 Tritanium.
More Than Flying Part 5
Now the Ambassador has to get out safely. You outrun and evade the rogue Klingons in Carraya, beat two more of their ships and escape to Priya.
- Outrun the rogue Klingons (Carraya).

- Evade the rogue Klingons (Carraya).

- Escape to the safety of the Priya system.

Tips for completing More Than Flying
Parts 2 and 3 need warp 38 for the trips to Kronos and Beta Penthe. Part 1 needs only warp 19, and Parts 4 and 5 need 27.
The Klingon vessel in Part 2 shows an unusually low listed strength of about 283. The real fights are the four Klingon vessels in Carraya across Parts 4 and 5, each about 432,000 enemy strength. Repair between them.
Parts 2 and 3 each ask for 10 hostiles of level 33 or higher.
There are no donations or payments, so the Part 2 payout is pure profit.
Are the More Than Flying rewards worth it?
Yes. Two Strange New Worlds Offiziere plus about 12 million Dilithium, 11.3 million Tritanium and 10.1 million Parsteel is an excellent return for five parts with no donations.
