Star Trek background
Burnham is a 23rd-century Starfleet officer from Star Trek: Discovery, played by Sonequa Martin-Green. She was born on Earth in 2226 and raised on Vulcan by Sarek and Amanda Grayson after the death of her parents, which makes her Spock’s foster sister.
She served as first officer aboard the USS Shenzhou under Captain Philippa Georgiou starting in 2249. At the Battle at the Binary Stars in 2256, she struck Georgiou to try to fire first on T’Kuvma’s Klingon fleet. The fleet attacked anyway, Georgiou died, and Burnham was stripped of rank and sentenced to life imprisonment for mutiny. Captain Gabriel Lorca later pulled her into the crew of the USS Discovery as a science specialist, which is the version of her that STFC pulls from for this card.

Once Intuitive crosses into the rank-four and rank-five values, the shield strip turns dramatic and shapes the entire fight.
