Lost Orion Slaver

The Lost Orion Slaver is a neutral pirate hostile in Star Trek Fleet Command that roams as an Explorer-class ship from level 25 to 58. You find it across a wide band of systems reachable at warp 25 to 200, where it drops Tritanium at the lower levels and 4★ Broken Explorer Parts higher up. Because it only ever shows up as an Explorer, an Interceptor tears it apart, so bring one and match the warp for its level.

How to beat the Lost Orion Slaver

This hostile only appears as an Explorer, so you do not need to juggle hull types between levels. Interceptors beat Explorers in combat, so bring an Interceptor and you hold the damage advantage the whole way from level 25 to 58. There is nothing to swap out as the levels climb; the counter stays the same.

For the crew, put a captain that boosts weapon damage against hostiles in the captain’s chair and fill the other seats with Offiziere that add damage or mitigation. Early on, the free cadet crew works well: Cadet Kirk as captain with Cadet Spock and Cadet Uhura beside him. As your roster grows, check the Officer Tier List for current picks, since the best crews shift with the meta.

Where to find the Lost Orion Slaver

The Lost Orion Slaver clusters in low-warp neutral space at the bottom of its range and spreads into deeper, higher-warp systems as the level climbs. Early spawns sit at warp 25 in systems like Uxal and Kalak; by level 58 you need warp 200 to reach it. The table below lists every level and the systems where it appears.

Rewards and what it drops

The Lost Orion Slaver drops raw materials that feed ship building, and which resource you get depends on the level you farm. Ship XP also climbs steeply with level, so higher spawns return more experience per kill for the ship you are grinding.

Ablegen What it is
Tritanium A gemeinsame refined mineral used in ship and building construction. Drops at levels 25 to 37.
4★ Gebrochene Explorer-Teile Four-star material for building and upgrading 4★ Explorer-class ships. Drops at levels 40 to 58.

Lost Orion Slaver stats

Stats vary by level and climb steeply, so a level 58 slaver is far tougher than its level 25 form. These anchor rows show the low, middle, and high ends of the range.

Lost Orion Slaver firing pattern

The Lost Orion Slaver fires energy weapons, so its damage lands against your shields first. It carries three energy weapons that fire every round, which means steady pressure rather than one big spike. The figures below come from its lowest-level record and scale up as the level rises.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energie 3 2,880–3,520 Every round 10% (1.5x)

The Orions in Star Trek

The Orions are a green-skinned species from the planet Orion, best known across Star Trek for piracy and the criminal network called the Orion Syndicate. They first appeared in the original series pilot “The Cage” in 1965 and returned throughout the franchise, from the Unternehmen era to Discovery. Orion culture is often tied to the slave trade, and Orion raiders have long preyed on shipping lanes at the edges of known space. In Star Trek Fleet Befehl that reputation carries over, with Orion ships turning up as pirates and slavers who harass traffic in neutral systems.

Is the Lost Orion Slaver worth grinding?

It is a solid farm if you need the resources it carries. At levels 25 to 37 it feeds you Tritanium for early ship and base work, and from level 40 up it hands over 4★ Broken Explorer Parts for mid-game Explorer builds. The kills are quick once you bring an Interceptor, and the ship XP is a bonus while you level a hull. Match the warp for the level you want, pick an Interceptor, and it goes down fast.
