Pathogen is a Federation storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where a Starfleet colony is being ravaged by a poison and you help Luis find the cause. You investigate Zarri Goma in Opla, fight off a Gorn Marauder and a Gorn Captain, and bring the wounded to Starbase 82. It needs warp 13 and lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 75 Premium Recruit Tokens, 43,000 Officer XP and a little Föderation standing. It is part of the It Came from Deep Space arc.
Pathogen objectives
Four objectives across two systems, no choice split:
- Investigate Zarri Goma. Location: Opla.
- Defeat the Gorn Marauder. Location: Opla (enemy strength about 23,562).
- Defeat the Gorn Captain. Location: Opla (enemy strength about 22,909).
- Bring wounded to Starbase 82. Location: Lorillia.
Everything except the delivery happens in Opla. You investigate the colony on Zarri Goma, then deal with two Gorn ships of almost equal strength, around 23,000 each. With them gone, you take the wounded to Starbase 82 in Lorillia.

There is no pickup system. Pathogen starts at warp 1 after Parentage and needs warp 13 to complete. The recommended level is listed as 1, and the two Gorn fights at about 23,000 strength are what to judge your ship by.

The Klingon Points figure is negative, so it is a small deduction rather than a gain. Completing Pathogen also unlocks the next mission in the Luis storyline.

Parentage, just before, has you take Luis and the Mayflower to other Gas giants to work out the gas’s makeup. Vulnerability, next, tests the gas by releasing it in different environments and pays refined gas. The whole storyline stays between warp 13 and 17.
Tips
Repair between the two Gorn fights. They are back to back in Opla and nearly identical in strength.
