Klingon Transport

The Klingon Transport is a Klingon hostile that spawns from level 35 to 43 across Klingon faction space, always as a Survey ship. Players hunt it to grind faction reputation: every kill raises your Föderation and Romulan standing and lowers your Klingon standing. Levels 35 to 39 drop parsteel and tritanium, while levels 40 to 43 drop 4★ Broken Survey Parts. It carries one weak weapon, so any capable warship at its level wins the fight.

How to beat the Klingon Transport

There is no class matchup to think about. The Klingon Transport only appears as a Survey ship, so bring whichever combat ship hits hardest at your level, and there is nothing to swap as you move up the level range. Survey hostiles put up little resistance, and this one fires a single energy weapon, so repair bills stay low and you can chain kills with almost no downtime. The practical hurdle is raw power at the top end: the level 43 version has over 6 million total strength, a steep jump from the 1.7 million of the level 39 version, so check the stats table below before you warp in and pick a target level your ship clears comfortably.

For crew, follow the standard hostile-grinding principle: a captain whose ability boosts weapon damage against hostiles, backed by Offiziere that add damage or survivability. At levels 35 to 43 you are past the early cadet-crew band, so check the officer tier list for current picks at your level. Crews shift as the game updates, so treat any named crew as a starting point rather than a fixed answer.

Where to find the Klingon Transport

Klingon Transports sit in Klingonenfraktion space, in systems that need warp 38, so one warp-capable ship covers the whole level range. The level 35 and 36 versions keep to a small cluster around Gorath and Quv Qeb. The level 37 to 41 spawns spread across most of the Klingon core, including Archanis, B’Moth, Ganalda, and Ty’Gokor. The top levels then contract hard: level 42 only appears in Archanis and Ursva, and level 43 only in Ursva.

Ebene Warp Systeme
35 38 Gorath, Quv Qeb
36 38 Archanis, Gorath, Quv Qeb, Wlb’puq

40 38 Archanis, B’Moth, Balduk, Fafniri, Ganalda, Gorath, Katovug, Lankal, Mok’Tak, Pheben, Ty’Gokor, Ursva, Wlb’puq

Rewards and what it drops

The Klingon Transport is first a faction-grinding target. Every kill awards Federation and Romulan reputation points and removes Klingon reputation points, with amounts scaling by level: the top spawns pay up to 5,120 Federation points and 2,560 Romulan points per kill, and cost as much as 19,200 Klingon points. Material drops split by level band. Levels 35 to 39 pay modest parsteel and tritanium, and levels 40 to 43 switch to 4★ Broken Survey Parts. Ship XP climbs steeply too, from 330 at level 35 to 1,875 at level 43, so the highest levels are also the best officer and ship XP per kill.

Ablegen What it is
Federation Points Reputation gain with the Föderationsfraktion speichern
Romulan Points Reputation gain with the Romulan faction speichern
Klingon Points A reputation loss: each kill subtracts Klingon points
Parsteel Basic construction resource (levels 35 to 39)
Tritanium Ship-building resource (levels 35 to 39)
4★ Broken Survey Parts Material for 4★ Survey ship parts (levels 40 to 43)

Klingon Transport firing pattern

The Klingon Transport carries a single energy weapon that fires every round after a one-round warm-up. There is no burst round to time your mitigation or repairs around; the damage arrives in a flat, predictable stream, which is part of why the fight is so forgiving. The figures below come from the lowest-level record and scale up with level.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energie 1 109,864–134,279 Every round 10% (1.5x)

The Klingons in Star Trek

Die Klingonen are one of Star Trek’s oldest alien powers, introduced in the original 1960s series and developed across decades of shows and films. Their empire is ruled from the homeworld Qo’noS by a High Council, and their culture is built on honor, combat, and the standing of family houses. Relations with the Federation swung from open war to a lasting alliance sealed by the Khitomer Accords, a shift embodied by Worf, the first Klingon officer in Starfleet. In Star Trek Fleet Befehl, the transports and patrol ships filling Klingon space reflect the working fleet of that martial empire.

Is the Klingon Transport worth grinding?

Yes, if you are working Federation or Romulan reputation in the level 35 to 43 range. It dies fast, pays well in faction points, and the level 40-plus versions add 4★ Broken Survey Parts on top. The cost is the Klingon reputation you burn with every kill, so skip it if you want to stay friendly with the Empire. Practical tip: park in Ursva or Archanis, where the highest-paying spawns cluster, and clear them in a loop.
