In Times of War is a Romulan story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. A Romulan Senator needs discreet treatment from a human doctor, so you find the doctor in Labac, pay 700 Dilithium for their services, bring them to Valdore Outpost, and then defeat the USS Olympus. The mission can be picked up in any of eight systems, needs warp 13 to start and warp 17 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 4 Arix shards and an 8 Hour Speed Up, and completing it unlocks The Law Falls Silent.
In Times of War objectives
Four objectives with no choice split:
- Meet the human doctor in Labac. Location: Labac.
- Secure the doctor’s services with 700 Dilithium.
- Bring the doctor to Valdore Outpost. Location: Draken.
- Defeat the USS Olympus. Location: Kaikara. Enemy strength is roughly 17,801.
The first half is a pickup job. You meet the doctor in Labac, pay 700 Dilithium to secure their help, and carry them to Valdore Outpost in Draken. The mission ends with a fight against the USS Olympus in Kaikara, the only combat step.

You can pick up In Times of War in Eizeb, Zhang, Bharani, Eisenhorn, Wezen, Bubeau, Vemet or Aciben. The game lists warp 13 to start and warp 17 to complete, so the objective systems need a little more range than the pickups.
The recommended level is listed as 1. A combat ship that can beat the USS Olympus at about 17,801 strength, plus 700 spare Dilithium, is what you need.

Arix is an Uncommon Science officer from the Romulan faction, part of Nerobesatzung. Reaching rank 1 takes 14 shards. This mission and the next one each pay 4, so together they cover 8 of the 14.

The Law Falls Silent investigates a Romulan distress signal in Lycia, asks for 5,000 Tritanium to repair a scout’s ship, and has two fights of similar strength to the Olympus. It also returns you to Valdore Outpost in Draken, and its last fight is in Kaikara, so the two Missionen cover much of the same ground.
The USS Olympus at about 17,801 strength matches the USS Lhotse in Gleichgewicht des Schreckens, another Romulan mission at this range.
Tips
Pick the closest of the eight pickup systems. They all start the same mission, so there is no reason to fly further than you must.
Have 700 Dilithium ready. The payment is the second objective, straight after meeting the doctor.
Save the 8 Hour Speed Up for a long build or research job, where it counts most.
