Into Thin Air is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission in which you try to finish the Trill rebellion once and for all. It is recommended for level 25, starts at warp 1 and needs warp 20 to complete. You meet Senise and the Trill ambassador in Beta Assembly, strike the rebel camp in Netron Omega, clear 10 hostiles of level 23 or higher, then find a second rebel camp in Netron Alpha. There is no scripted boss. The reward is 240 3★ Interceptor Parts, 80 3★ Explorer Parts and 335,000 Parsteel.

Into Thin Air objectives

Es gibt fünf Ziele und keine Verzweigung:

  • Meet with Senise. Location: Beta-Montage.
  • Return to the Trill ambassador. Location: Beta Assembly.
  • Target the Trill rebel camp. Location: Netron Omega.
  • Besiegen Sie 10 Feinde der Stufe 23 oder höher.
  • Find the second rebel camp. Location: Netron Alpha.

The first two steps both happen in Beta Assembly. The rebel camp in Netron Omega is a travel step, and the combat comes in the form of a kill count: 10 hostiles of level 23 or higher, with no system named. The mission then ends when you locate the second camp in Netron Alpha.

Wo und welcher Warp

Into Thin Air starts at warp 1 and needs warp 20 to complete. The systems come in order: Beta Assembly, Netron Omega, then Netron Alpha. There is no return to your station at the end. The recommended level is 25.

Into Thin Air rewards

Belohnung Amount
3★ Interceptor Parts 240
3★ Explorer Teile 80
Parsteel 335,000

The 240 3★ Interceptor Parts are the standout line, especially if you are building up an interceptor.

The missions either side of it

Into Thin Air sits between two other level 25 Missionen:

Mission Warp Story Belohnungen
Momentum and Inertia 20 to start and complete Defend the Trill embassy 6 3 Hour Speed Up, 11,000 Dilithium
Into Thin Air 1 to start, 20 to complete Finish the rebellion once and for all 240 3★ Interceptor Parts, 80 3★ Explorer Parts, 335,000 Parsteel
All-Encompassing 20 to start and complete Assist in the Tholian expansion 4 3★ Uncommon Refined Kristall, 1 1 Day Peace Shield, 335,000 Parsteel

All three finish at warp 20, so one ship covers the whole stretch. Into Thin Air and All-Encompassing pay the same 335,000 Parsteel; Into Thin Air adds ship parts where All-Encompassing adds a peace shield and refined crystal.

Tips

Bring a combat ship for the kill count. The objective asks for hostiles of level 23 or higher, so lower-level targets are not what you want.

Do the travel steps in order. Beta Assembly comes first for both conversations, then Netron Omega, and only after the 10 kills does the mission point you at Netron Alpha.

Hold the 3★ Interceptor Parts for an interceptor you plan to tier up. At 240, they are a big boost for one ship.

Kraftvolles Vakuum uses the same level 23 hostile requirement, with 12 kills for a Tritanium reward. The previous mission is Momentum and Inertia und die nächste ist All-Encompassing. Every mission by level is on the Missionsleitfaden.
