Counter Swarm is a Swarm storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you gather an Independent fleet and strike back at Zenith. It runs through Coridan, Rigel and Beta Vordunn, needs warp 15 to finish, and has two short fights at roughly 34,782 strength each. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is a small bundle of 2★ Ungewöhnlich refined materials, and finishing it unlocks the next Swarm mission.
Counter Swarm objectives

- Race to Rigel. Location: Rigel.
The first half is recruitment. You visit Coridan, then Rigel, then pay Captain Smith 8,000 Dilithium. The second half is the assault in Beta Vordunn, where the two fights happen one after the other. The mission ends with a run back to Rigel rather than a return to your station.
Wo und welcher Warp
There is no pickup system, and the mission becomes available at warp 1. Completing it takes warp 15. That is slightly more than the warp 13 the Missionen on either side of it need, so Counter Swarm is the step in this stretch most likely to ask for a warp upgrade.
The recommended level is listed as 1. With enemies around 34,782 strength, a ship that has had a few upgrades handles both fights.

Counter Swarm is the quick middle step. Directives before it asks for 100 kills, and Containment Protocol after it asks for 600 Frequency Modulators, which the game says drop from Swarm hostiles.
Tips
Keep 8,000 Dilithium on hand. The donation to Captain Smith sits between the recruiting and the assault, and it is the only step that can hold you up if you have been spending Dilithium elsewhere.
Start farming Swarm hostiles early. The next mission wants 600 Frequency Modulators, so any Swarm kills you pick up while in the area give you a head start. More Swarm content is on the Swarm missions .
