Forward Futures is a level 64 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which Ferengi scavengers raid a new Reman shipyard in Grida-7 and you chase them down. It is picked up in Grida-7, needs warp 1,200 to start and warp 1,250 to complete, and takes you to Somovka and back. There is a Ferengi ship of about 4.19 billion strength, 10 hostiles of level 64 or higher and a very weak Ferengi boss. The reward is 80,000 6★ Raw Gas, 240,000 Raw Σ-Parsteel and a large Romulan reputation gain.
Forward Futures objectives
There are five objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Destroy the Ferengi vessel. Location: Grida-7. Enemy strength about 4,194,200,695.
- Chase the scavengers to Somovka. Location: Somovka.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of Level 64 or higher.
- Defeat the Ferengi Boss. Location: Somovka. Enemy strength about 106,102,847.
- Bring Belik home to Reman space. Location: Grida-7.
Morga of the Reman Initiative calls about an infestation of leeches at the new Werft: Ferengi, not literal ones, trying to steal the shipbuilding materials. Their pilot Deg offers no room for talk, so you open fire. He flees, and Morga wants to follow him and recover what was stolen.
In Somovka more hostile ships close in. Their boss, Damon Bahn, is furious with Deg for leading the Reman Initiative straight to them. Once the Ferengi are broken, you find Belik, a Reman whose shuttle the Ferengi took during the raid, hiding and waiting for help. Morga pretends that was the plan all along and sends him back to get the shipyard running.

The mission is picked up in Grida-7 at warp 1,200. Somovka pushes the completion requirement to warp 1,250, and the mission ends back in Grida-7. The recommended level is 64, and the ten hostiles must be level 64 or higher.

Fifteen Romulan missions at levels 62 to 64, picked up in Lanasta, ilargia, Qudorin, Grida-7 and izar, follow the Reman Initiative. All pay Romulan Credits and Romulan Points and cost Klingon and Federation Points. Their other rewards:

Forward Futures is the only one of the four Grida-7 missions that needs warp 1,250.
Tips
The first Ferengi ship is the real fight; Damon Bahn himself is only about 106 million strength. The ten level 64 hostiles are the long part.
