Flight Into Hiding

Flight Into Hiding is a Star Trek Fleet Command story mission built around one goal: get your station out of the Alphas’ reach and set up somewhere safer. It opens close to home at warp 1, then sends you out as far as warp 110 to finish. Completing it hands you a Relocation Token and a batch of refined Kristall, and it unlocks the next part of the chain.

Flight Into Hiding objectives

The mission runs as a short scouting trip that ends with an actual base move. Complete the objectives in this order:

  • Investigate the first potential system, Naalur.
  • Investigate the next potential system, Hannlaw.
  • Return to your station and prepare to move.
  • Move your station to a system of level 40 or higher.

The first two steps are survey stops in Naalur and Hannlaw. Neither one lists an enemy to beat in the mission Daten, so treat them as travel and investigation rather than combat. The last two objectives are about repositioning your base, which means the payoff of the mission is a change of address rather than a fight. That makes Flight Into Hiding a good one to knock out while you are already moving ships around the map.

Wo und welcher Warp

You pick the mission up right where you are, only warp 1 away. The catch is the finish line: it reads warp 110 to complete, which is the distance the investigation legs cover. Naalur and Hannlaw are the two systems you scout before heading back to relocate. Because 110 is a long reach for most early crews, the practical planning point is fuel. Fill your tank before you set out, and make sure the ship you send can survive the trip out and back without stranding itself in the middle of nowhere.

Flight Into Hiding rewards

Two things come out of this mission. You earn 180 units of 4★ Gemeinsame Refined Crystal, a refined material that feeds into upgrades later on, and you receive 1 Relocation Token. Finishing the mission also unlocks the next part of the chain, so it works as a gate as much as a reward.

Tips

Decide where you want to live before you touch the final objective. That last step physically moves your station to a system of level 40 or higher, so scout your destination in advance instead of jumping blind. Look for a system with the Ressourcen you actually need and a neighborhood that fits your strength, since you will be parked there for a while.

The warp 110 stretch is the only demanding part of the run. If your survey ship cannot make that distance comfortably, raise your warp range or plan a route that lets you refuel on the way. Hold on to the Relocation Token if you do not need to move again right away, because it keeps its value for a future relocation. And treat the 180 refined crystal you earn as a stockpile material rather than something to spend the moment it lands in your inventory.
