Fatherhood is a five-part mission chain that starts with a tip from an anonymous source about a colony under Suliban attack and grows into a story about Jariin, his son and the Suliban Cabal. You raid Cabal supplies, seek help from the Augments, work with a mysterious benefactor to get a cure for Jariin’s son, and finally choose whether to go along with the Cabal or oppose them. Every part is recommended for level 25, and warp to complete runs from 13 to 20. The chain pays 904,000 Parsteel, 129,000 Tritanium, 39,000 Dilithium, 600 Latinum, 48,000 Officer XP and a Relocation Token. The ending choice changes your route but not your rewards.

Fatherhood Part 1
An anonymous tip warns that a colony in Earorfilad is in danger. You break up the Suliban assault there, then go looking for whoever sent the warning.
- Get to the endangered colony, in Earorfilad.

The Cabal uses supplies for gene Technik, and you set out to take them. You find a Suliban supply cache in Narendra, follow a cargo ship and fight past its guard.

Next you try to contact the Augments and ask for their help. It goes badly: the Cabal attacks, the Augments turn on Jariin, and you have to get him out of Augment Raum.

Fatherhood Part 4
A mysterious benefactor offers a way to negotiate a cure for Jariin’s son. The plan involves intercepting a Senator’s scout and stealing the Senator’s Daten from Cillers.
- Find a quieter place, in Kepler-018.

Fatherhood Part 5
The final part forces a decision about the Cabal. After you deliver the Senator’s intel to Qualor and return to your Station, you choose how to deal with Jariin.

Tips for completing Fatherhood
Part 3 asks for 1,500 Corrupted Data, the one unusual cost in the chain. Check your stock before you start Part 3 so you are not stuck in Rainsford.
The named fights are uniform, all between about 43,800 and 45,000 strength, so the challenge is the hostile quotas: 10 level 25 hostiles in Part 1 and, if you side with Jariin in Part 5, another 8.
The Part 5 choice pays the same either way. Following the mysterious man’s plan is quicker, with one fight against Jariin and a delivery. Telling Jariin about the plan costs 8 hostiles and a trip to Krlakh, and ends with Jariin delivered to safety instead of defeated.
