Excuse My Dust is a level 53 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you race an arrogant Independent named Armisen around the galaxy. It is picked up in Clara and needs warp 255 to start and finish. The race runs through Avofall und Aramis, then you check on Armisen in Eady, defeat 12 hostiles, and get him to safety back in Clara. The reward is 3,000,000,000 Parsteel and 89,100,000 Tritanium.
Excuse My Dust objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Go to the starting point. Location: Clara.
- Race to the first checkpoint. Location: Avofall.
- Race to the next checkpoint. Location: Aramis.
- Check in on Armisen. Location: Eady.
- Defeat 12 hostiles of Level 53 or higher.
- Get Armisen to safety. Location: Clara.
After two race checkpoints, the mission changes from a race to a rescue: you check in on Armisen in Eady, clear 12 hostiles, and get him to safety in Clara, where the race started. The hostile count has no system attached, so any hostiles of level 53 or higher count.

The pickup system is Clara, and warp 255 covers every checkpoint. The recommended level is 53.

Federation missions at levels 50 to 53
These four level 50 to 53 missions pay Federation Credits and Federation Points and take away Klingon Points, the reverse of the KSG missions in the same range.

Excuse My Dust has the highest level and warp of the four and the highest Federation Points, but the lowest Tritanium.
Tips
Use a ship that can handle both parts. The race legs reward speed, but the 12 hostiles of level 53 or higher need a ship that can win repeated fights, and there is no station stop between them.
Clear the 12 hostiles around Eady so the trip back to Clara is the last thing left.
