A Radical Move is a Federation-leaning story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you stop a Nausicaan raid on Starbase 82. It can be accepted at warp 1, needs warp 22 to complete, and has a recommended level of 1. After reporting to Angosia you choose how to handle the assault: defend the starbase in Lorillia, or go after the raiders in Niawillen. Both paths end with the same two fights and the same Föderation reputation, with either resources or recruit tokens and Officer XP on top.

- Defeat the Nausicaan Warlord. Location: Lorillia. Enemy strength is roughly 73,260.
Rewards for this path: 19 3★ Ungewöhnlich Refined Gas, 1,330,000 Parsteel, 130 Federation Credits, 2,000 Federation Points and -1,800 Klingon Points.
Take the fight to Niawillen
- Find the Nausicaan Raiders in Niawillen. Location: Niawillen.
- Destroy the Nausicaan Raider. Location: Niawillen. Enemy strength is roughly 296,419.
- Defeat the Nausicaan Warlord. Location: Niawillen. Enemy strength is roughly 73,260.
Rewards for this path: 250 Federation Recruit Tokens, 75,000 Officer XP, 130 Federation Credits, 2,000 Federation Points and -1,800 Klingonisch Points.
Wo und welcher Warp
No pickup system is listed, and warp 1 is enough to accept the mission. Warp 22 is needed to complete it. Angosia comes first on both paths; after that you fight in either Lorillia or Niawillen. The recommended level is 1, but the Nausicaan Raider at nearly 300,000 strength is the real test.

Either path unlocks the next mission in the storyline.
Tips
The fights are identical on both paths, so choose by the reward. The starbase path costs an extra 8,000 Tritanium for the repairs but pays 1,330,000 Parsteel and 19 3★ Uncommon Refined Gas. The Niawillen path has no donation and pays 250 Federation Recruit Tokens and 75,000 Officer XP.
Bring your strongest combat ship. The Nausicaan Raider sits at roughly 296,419 strength, four times the Warlord at 73,260, and you have to beat both.
Repair between the two fights if the Raider leaves your ship badly damaged. On either path the Raider and the Warlord are in the same system, so a trip home to repair brings you straight back to the Warlord’s location.
Know the Klingon cost. Either way you gain 2,000 Federation Points but lose 1,800 Klingon Points.
