Effigy is a level 73 neutral mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help Bowen bring Thalloran refugees into a yearly fire festival. It starts in Alriahin and needs warp 2,100 to start and to complete. Expect one fight and a 30K Σ-Dilithium donation along the way. The payout is 1,066,000 Σ-Parsteel, 217,000 7★ Broken Interceptor Parts, four 12 Hr Peace Shields and 1 Gravimetric Daten, which is generous for a mission with a single combat step.
Effigy objectives
Bowen wants the refugee community to take part in the festival, where locals burn effigies of their troubles and make art for the people they have lost. The arts council, speaking through Azima, needs convincing first. The objectives run in this order, with no choice split:
- Meet with the arts council in Alriahin.
- Donate 30K Σ-Dilithium.
- Get the refugees involved in Alriahin.
- Proceed to Ohz’Ahtis.
- Get rid of the convention goers in Ohz’Ahtis (enemy strength ~11,426,936,123,691).
- Prepare for the festival in Ohz’Ahtis.
- Investigate the ruckus in Ohz’Ahtis.
- Kick off the festival in Ohz’Ahtis.
- Proceed to the cultural centre in Alriahin.
Azima only agrees once Maia offers the Σ-Dilithium as a donation to the artists. At the festival site a man named Koman has set up for a bureaucracy convention and will not leave without a permit, so you chase his ships off. He turns out to be one planet away from where he should be. The ruckus afterwards is Asan’s Thalloran effigy, made as a joke, and Bowen ends up moving it into the cultural centre as a piece of art.

The pickup is in Alriahin, and warp 2,100 is enough to start and finish. Everything past the council meeting happens in Ohz’Ahtis until the last step brings you back to Alriahin. The recommended level is 73.

Tips
Have the Σ-Dilithium in the bank before you talk to the council. The donation is the second objective, and the mission waits there until you pay the 30K. If your stock is low, top it up first (see Dilithium).
Only one step involves combat. The convention goers are listed at about 11.4 trillion strength, so send a ship that handles level 73 fights and repair it first if it has been out grinding. The festival steps after that are travel and talk inside Ohz’Ahtis.
Because no reputation changes hands, this is a safe pick if you are protecting your standing with a faction. The Σ-Parsteel is the headline reward, and none of the other level 73 neutral missions pay Parsteel at all. See Parsteel und Sigma resources for how the Σ versions fit into upgrades.
