The Watch is a small early-game mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. The local communities want to hire an independent bounty hunter to deal with dangerous hostiles, and you take the job. It is recommended for level 5, needs warp 5 to start and to complete, and can be picked up in any of twelve low-level systems. The one objective is to destroy 3 hostiles of level 5 or higher, and the reward is 1,700 Parsteel. It is a quick Parsteel top-up while you are already hunting.

No system is set for the kills, so any three hostiles of level 5 or higher count, wherever you find them.

The Watch is offered in twelve systems: Baw, Benzi, Bohvanderro, Landi, Ruli, Vinland, Aker, Laurgatt, Bridford, Zukerat, Takik and Estrada. It needs warp 5 both to start and to complete, and the recommended level is 5.
The Watch rewards
The reward is 1,700 Parsteel. The mission does not unlock another one.

Position of Power is the closest match, another hostile count at a lower level. The Watch pays more Parsteel for fewer kills.
Tips
Pick it up when you are about to hunt anyway. The kills can happen anywhere, so there is no detour.
Make sure the targets are level 5 or higher; lower-level hostiles do not count toward the three.
