This Fire Burns is a Klingon story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you defend Klingon space from a Starfleet counter-attack. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 120 to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but the USS Spearhead at roughly 7,414,271 power and a 25M Tritanium donation are what you actually need to plan for. The reward is 28 4★ Rare Refined Gas and 100 4★ Ungewöhnlich Refined Gas, and finishing it unlocks The Dust Settles.
This Fire Burns objectives
Es gibt fünf Ziele und keine Verzweigung:
- Stop another Starfleet assault. Location: Dohrmas.
- Defeat the USS Spearhead. Location: Dohrmas. Enemy strength is roughly 7,414,271.
- Evacuate Klingonisch wounded. Location: Dohrmas.
- Donate 25M Tritanium to ready the planet’s defenses.
- Bring the wounded to Kronos. Location: Kronos.
The mission picks up in Dohrmas, where the previous mission left off. You meet the Starfleet assault, beat the USS Spearhead and evacuate the wounded. The Tritanium donation shores up the planet’s defenses, and the last step takes the wounded to Kronos.
Wo und welcher Warp
This Fire Burns can be picked up at warp 1 but needs warp 120 to complete. Dohrmas and Kronos are the two systems involved.
The listed recommended level of 1 is not a useful guide. The USS Spearhead at about 7.4 million power is one of the strongest single fights in this storyline, and the donation is a large resource cost on top.
This Fire Burns rewards
| Belohnung | Amount |
|---|---|
| 4★ Rare Refined Gas | 28 |
| 4★ Uncommon Refined Gas | 100 |
Der Abschluss der Mission schaltet außerdem die nächste in der Storyline frei, Der Staub legt sich.
Unlike most Missionen in this storyline, This Fire Burns pays no Klingon Credits or reputation. The payout is refined gas only, and the 4★ Rare Refined Gas is the harder of the two to come by.
How it compares with its neighbours
| Mission | Warp zum Abschließen | Strongest fight | Donation | Main rewards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wildheit | 120 | USS Markievicz, about 7,414,271 | Keine | 190 4★ Uncommon Interceptor Parts, 50 1M Tritanium Tokens, Klingon rewards |
| Dieses Feuer brennt | 120 | USS Spearhead, about 7,414,271 | 25M Tritanium | 28 4★ Rare Refined Gas, 100 4★ Uncommon Refined Gas |
| Der Staub legt sich | 75 | Starfleet Interceptor, about 7,227,080 | Keine | 5,460,000 Dilithium, 400 4★ Gemeinsame Interceptor Parts, Klingon rewards |
Ferocity comes directly before this mission. It pays 50 1M Tritanium Tokens, which is 50 million Tritanium, well over the 25M this mission asks you to donate.
Hubarbeitsbühne, from a different storyline, has an almost identical shape: a 33M Tritanium donation, a fight near 7.2 million, and 27 4★ Rare plus 100 4★ Uncommon Refined Gas as the reward.
Tips
Keep the Tritanium from Ferocity. Opening those tokens before this mission covers the 25M donation with room to spare.
Win the fight first, then donate. The Spearhead comes before the donation step, so there is no reason to spend the Tritanium until the hard part is behind you.
Use the same ship that beat the USS Markievicz in Ferocity. The Spearhead is listed at the same strength. The storyline begins with Alte Wunden, and other missions sorted by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
