Circumlocution is a level 68 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, picked up in Olgon-9298. Major Kira asks you to pose as a recruit for the Alliance for Global Unity, known as the Circle, and learn what it plans against Bajor’s provisional government. It needs warp 1500 to start and to complete, asks for a 30M Dilithium tribute, and pays 504,000 6★ Raw Ore, 600 6★ Common Refined Gas and Federation reputation. It has the biggest resource payout of the Olgon-9298 Missionen, and the steepest entry cost.
Circumlocution objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Meet with representatives of the Circle. Location: Bajor.
- Offer 30M Dilithium in tribute to the Circle.
- Action the Circle’s request. Location: Nisa.
- Defeat 12 hostiles of level 68 or higher.
- Defeat Keyo Dalz. Location: Nisa.
- Attend the debriefing with Major Kira onboard Der Weltraum Nine. Location: Bajor.
Kira has arranged a meeting with Keyo Dalz, the Circle’s overseer of admissions, who believes you want to join. Keyo asks for 30M Dilithium as a tithe, then has you escort him to Nisa for what he calls a welcome.
The welcome is a trap. Keyo transports to a nearby ship and says he saw through your cover from the start. Hostile ships move in, which is the 12-hostile objective, and Keyo’s own ship follows at about 11.3 billion strength. His vessel is destroyed with no survivors, so you return to Deep Space Nine with no intel. Kira concludes that someone told the Circle about the plan and that her network on Bajor is compromised.

Circumlocution is picked up in Olgon-9298 and needs warp 1500 to start and to complete. The route runs to Bajor, then to Nisa for the fighting, then back to Bajor. The recommended level is 68.

Tips
Have the 30M Dilithium ready before you meet Keyo. The tribute is the second objective, so the mission stalls right after the Bajor meeting if you cannot pay.
The 12 hostiles have no fixed system in the objective, but the story places the ambush at Nisa. Any hostiles of level 68 or higher count, and Keyo Dalz is the fight after them, so keep enough health for one more battle.
