Breakout is a level 28 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you try to free a captive trader. Everything happens in Seevor: find the holding ship, beat the ship guarding it at roughly 305,058 strength, extract the prisoner, then head home. It can be picked up at warp 1 and needs warp 20 to finish. The reward is 1,228,000 Parsteel and 181,000 Tritanium, a good return for one fight.
Breakout objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Find the holding ship. Location: Seevor.
- Defeat accompanying ship. Location: Seevor. Enemy strength is roughly 305,058.
- Extract the prisoner. Location: Seevor.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
Seevor is a level 28 neutral system, and the first three steps all happen there. Locating the holding ship is travel only. The accompanying ship is the single fight, and once it is down you can extract the prisoner without anything else in the way. The last step is the trip back to your station.
Wo und welcher Warp
The mission can be picked up at warp 1, and completing it needs warp 20. Seevor is the only system it names, so this is a single outbound trip and a return.
The recommended level is 28, which matches the level of Seevor. The accompanying ship at around 305,058 strength is the step that shows whether your ship is ready.

| Belohnung | Amount |

Completing Breakout unlocks the next mission in the storyline, Mudd's Verkauf.
How it follows Flatter to Deceive
Breakout comes straight after Schmeicheln, um zu täuschen, in which you answer a distress signal from the traders’ ship. Current game Daten for the two:
| Mission | Recommended level | Warp to complete | Kämpfen | Belohnungen |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Schmeicheln, um zu täuschen | 28 | 20 | 10 hostiles of level 27 or higher | 1,156,000 Parsteel, 70 5 Minute Repair Speed Ups |
| Breakout | 28 | 20 | One ship in Seevor, about 305,058 | 1,228,000 Parsteel, 181,000 Tritanium |
The two share a recommended level and warp. Flatter to Deceive is a grind of ten hostile kills, while Breakout swaps that for a single scripted fight at about 305,058 strength. The Parsteel is similar; Breakout adds Tritanium where Flatter to Deceive pays repair speed ups.
Tips
Bring your best combat ship. The accompanying ship at about 305,058 strength is the only thing that can stop you finishing.
Use the repair speed ups from Flatter to Deceive here. Seventy 5 Minute Repair Speed Ups come just before this fight, so start Breakout with a fully repaired ship.
Plan the Tritanium. 181,000 Tritanium is a useful amount for building upgrades around level 28, so it is worth running Breakout when you have an upgrade queued. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
