Bad Blood is a level 65 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, picked up in LuchenmoH, that pays Klingon reputation. A captain of the Klingonisch Imperial Guard has just survived an assassination attempt and wants an outsider’s help to find out who ordered it, off the books. It needs warp 1250 to start and to complete, asks for a 25M Dilithium payment, includes two fights, and ends with a choice over the culprit’s fate. Both paths pay 322,000 of a 6★ raw resource and 1,026,000 of a raw Σ-resource.
Bad Blood objectives
Seven steps come before the split:
- Set a course for HerchenmoH. Location: HerchenmoH.
- Disable the assassin’s weapons. Location: HerchenmoH.
- Pay the assassin 25M Dilithium to cancel the hit.
- Proceed to the Klingon Imperial Guard headquarters. Location: Darklake.
- Locate the correct terminal. Location: Darklake.
- Confront Officer Ogang. Location: Darklake.
- Confront Officer Vulforg. Location: Darklake.

The captain has traced the attacker’s warp signature to HerchenmoH, where a hitman named Bak’Aht runs a curio shop as cover. He attacks, and you disable his ship, listed at about 4.7 billion strength. Bak’Aht then offers to cancel the hit and share what he knows for 25M Dilithium. The order came from the Imperial Guard headquarters in Darklake.
The terminal logs point to Officer Ogang, the captain’s protege, but Ogang points out she would hardly use her own account and suggests Officer Vulforg, the senior officer who would inherit the captain’s post. Vulforg gives himself away by knowing about the hit, and admits he could not stand the captain naming a Klingon with no house as successor. The captain wants him dead; Ogang urges you to let the law deal with him.

Vulforg’s ship is listed at about 4.5 billion strength on both paths.

Bad Blood is picked up in LuchenmoH, with the hitman in HerchenmoH and the rest in Darklake. Both the start and the finish need warp 1250, and the recommended level is 65.

Tips
Keep 25M Dilithium ready for Bak’Aht. The payment comes straight after the first fight, and the investigation cannot continue without it.
Both fights are light for level 65, around 4.5 to 4.7 billion strength, and the choice does not change the difficulty. Pick by resource: Crystal and Σ-Tritanium, or Ore and Σ-Dilithium.
