Fear of Failure is a level 27 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you finally confront Sekula. You meet a Klingon Commander in Hoeven, pay a contact 85,000 Dilithium in Talmir-86, then track Sekula down in Alhazar and beat her ship. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 22 to complete. At the end you decide whether to hand Sekula over to Starfleet or let her go, and both choices pay Klingon Credits and 8,000 Klingon Points.
Fear of Failure objectives
The first five objectives are the same for everyone. The sixth is a choice that splits the mission into two short endings.
- Meet with the Klingon Commander. Location: Hoeven.
- Meet the Contact. Location: Talmir-86.
- Spenden Sie 85.000 Dilithium an den Kontakt.
- Find Sekula. Location: Alhazar.
- Defeat Sekula. Location: Alhazar. Enemy strength is roughly 198,251.
- Decide whether to hand Sekula over to Starfleet.

The two endings have the same objective and the same reputation changes. The only difference is 20 Klingon Credits in favour of letting Sekula go.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept Fear of Failure at warp 1, and warp 22 covers the whole route. The recommended level is 27. The mission moves through three systems in order: Hoeven for the Klingon Commander, Talmir-86 for the contact and the Dilithium payment, and Alhazar for Sekula herself.
The game puts roaming hostiles in all three systems between level 23 and 30. Hoeven has Klingon Patrols, Klingon Fighters and Dessneran Bandits, Talmir-86 has Reckless and Fearless Bandits, and Alhazar has Scouting Bandits and Fearless Bandits. None of them are mission targets.

Fear of Failure and By Any Means Necessary
Fear of Failure follows Mit allen nötigen Mitteln, where the search for Sekula continues. The two Missionen share a level and pay nearly the same reward.

Fear of Failure needs three more warp than the mission before it and adds a Dilithium donation on top.
Tips
Have the 85,000 Dilithium ready before you reach Talmir-86. The donation is the one step that can stall the mission, and at level 27 that amount is a real share of most stockpiles.
Sekula is the only fight. At about 198,000 strength she is a fair test for a level 27 combat ship, so arrive in Alhazar at full health rather than picking fights with the local bandits on the way.
If Klingon standing is your goal, pick either ending, since the reputation numbers match. Letting Sekula go is the better payout by 20 credits. The mission also costs Romulan and Federation standing, so keep that in mind if you are building reputation with those factions.
