A Change of Scenery is a level 27 Romulan story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. Your job is to kidnap Starfleet scientists from a lab in Hann, fight off a Klingon ship of about 198,251 strength, and deliver the scientists to Romulanisch space in Biruin. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 19 to complete. The reward is 42,000 Dilithium and 8,000 Romulan Points, at the cost of some Federation and Klingon standing.
A Change of Scenery objectives
Four objectives across two systems, with no choice split:
- Fly to the Starfleet Lab. Location: Hann.
- Kidnap the scientists. Location: Hann.
- Defeat the Klingon ship. Location: Hann. Enemy strength is roughly 198,251.
- Bring the scientists to Romulan space. Location: Biruin.
The first three steps all happen in Hann. You reach the Starfleet Lab, take the scientists, and then a Klingon ship moves in, which is the only fight of the mission. With it beaten, you carry the scientists to Biruin and the mission ends there, without a return to your station.

The recommended level is 27. The Klingon ship, at about 198,251 strength, is the fight that checks whether your ship is ready.

Each of the three pays 8,000 Romulan Points and takes 5,184 Federation Points and 3,456 Klingon Points, so running the set shifts your standing the same way three times. The fights are nearly identical in strength, and this mission has the lowest warp of the three.
The story follows a clear line: Fuel to the Fire stirs up conflict between the Federation and the Klingonen, this mission takes the Starfleet scientists, and Fighting for Our Lives has you fight off the Starfleet response and return to Biruin.
Tips
Bring a combat ship with full hull. The Klingon ship is the only thing between you and the reward, and at about 198,251 strength it is a real fight for a level 27 player.
Stay near Biruin afterward. The mission ends there, and Fighting for Our Lives also routes back through Biruin, so the region stays useful for the next step.
Think about your standing before running the set. Three Missionen at -5,184 Federation Points each add up to more than 15,000, which matters if you are also working with the Federation.
