Crossfire is a rescue mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. A human-led Independent transport has been caught in a fight between Klingon and Federation forces, and you answer its distress call in Voss, disable a Klingon Separatist ship, take the Independent crews aboard, destroy a Separatist Battleship and evacuate everyone to Starbase 82 in Lorillia. It can be picked up in ten systems and needs warp 13 to start and to finish. The reward is 100,000 Parsteel and 3 Koth shards.
Crossfire objectives
There are five objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Investigate the distress call in Voss. Location: Voss.
- Disable the Klingon Separatist ship’s engines. Location: Voss. Enemy strength is roughly 9,309.
- Transport the Independent crews from their ships. Location: Voss.
- Destroy the Separatist Battleship. Location: Voss. Enemy strength is roughly 9,309.
- Evacuate the Independents to Starbase 82. Location: Lorillia.
Both fights happen in Voss and are the same strength. The crew transfer sits between them, and the mission ends with the drop-off at Starbase 82.
Where and what warp
Crossfire is offered in ten systems: Opla, Azha, Wasat, Zeta Polis, Zhang, Gelvin, Eisenhorn, Kepler-018, Kaus Australis and Kosz. Warp 13 covers both accepting and finishing it. The game lists a recommended level of 1; the two Separatist ships at about 9,300 strength each are the real check.
The game lists Federation Traders, Combat Ships and Patrols in Voss at level 20 to 23, and Boslic Slave Traders in Lorillia at level 15 to 21. None of them are mission targets.

Crossfire is a standalone mission and does not unlock a follow-up.
Crossfire and Flashpoint
Another warp 13 mission also pays Koth shards for helping Independents caught up in a Klingon attack.

If you are collecting Koth, the two missions together give five shards. Other missions from the same pickup systems pay Koth shards as well, including A Bitter Taste, which pays 8 Koth shards and 400,000 Parsteel.
Tips
Repair between the two Separatist ships if your ship took heavy damage. They are equal in strength, and the second fight follows the crew transfer with no break for travel.
The 100,000 Parsteel is generous for warp 13. Pick up Crossfire from whichever of the ten systems is closest to your usual mining area. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
