Convalescence is a mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you confront the traders on Minos Silma and get a cure to the sick on Minos Thano. Both planets are in the Cita Laga system, and the mission ends with a fight against an Orion Enforcer. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 11 to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 22,000 Parsteel, and it follows on from Quarantine, where the Anguish Virus first reaches Minos Thano.
Convalescence objectives
There are three objectives, all in Cita Laga, and no choice split:
- Confront the traders on Minos Silma. Location: Cita Laga.
- Bring the cure to Minos Thano. Location: Cita Laga.
- Defeat the Orion Enforcer. Location: Cita Laga. Enemy strength is roughly 11,529.
The Orion Enforcer is the only fight, and it comes after the cure is delivered. There is no return trip listed.
Where and what warp
You can accept Convalescence at warp 1, and warp 11 is enough to reach Cita Laga. The listed recommended level is 1; the Orion Enforcer at about 11,500 strength is the real check.
Cita Laga is a level 15 neutral system. The game lists five Suliban Nomads there at level 14 to 18. They are not mission targets.

Convalescence and Quarantine
The two missions tell one story about the Anguish Virus on Minos Thano. Both finish at warp 11 in Cita Laga, and both end with an Orion Enforcer.

Quarantine also sends you to Orion to confront the Syndicate bosses, while Convalescence stays in Cita Laga. The second Enforcer is a little stronger, and the Parsteel reward is more than four times higher.
Other missions in Cita Laga
Cita Laga hosts a cluster of low-warp missions, including The Excavation of Cita Laga, Forced Out and Hos, all finishing at warp 11. If you have several of them open, one trip covers them all.
Tips
Bring a combat ship. The Enforcer is not strong, but it will outclass a survey ship at this stage. The Suliban Nomads in Cita Laga start at level 14, so keep clear of them if your ship is still small.
Quarantine comes first in the story and pays a Next Gen Data shard, so the pair is worth running back to back. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
