War Cries is a Klingon-side story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 27. The story line is two words: attack Starfleet. It opens at warp 1 and needs warp 19 to complete. You meet Klingon forces in Hoeven, infiltrate Federation space at Hann, defeat 10 hostiles of level 26 or higher and return to your station. The reward is 2,139,000 Parsteel and 8,000 Klingon Points, with small Romulan and Federation losses. It follows the Klingon choice in What Comes Next and unlocks The Next Move.
War Cries objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Meet with Klingon forces. Location: Hoeven.
- Infiltrate Federation Space. Location: Hann.
- Defeat 10 Hostiles of Level 26 or higher.
- Return to your Station.
The first two steps are travel: Hoeven to link up with the Klingons, then Hann to cross into Federation space. The combat is the third step, 10 hostiles of level 26 or higher, and it has no system attached in the data. The last step brings your ship home.
There is no single named boss in War Cries. The work is the 10 kills, which you can plan around whatever level 26 and higher targets suit your ship.
Where and what warp
War Cries has no pickup system in the data. It opens at warp 1 and needs warp 19 to complete. Hoeven and Hann are the two named systems, and the mission ends at your station. The recommended level is 27, one level above the floor on the hostile kills.

War Cries comes after What Comes Next…, the mission where you decide whom to side with. That mission has three paths, one per faction, and War Cries is the continuation on the Klingon side.

Taking the Klingon option there and then running War Cries adds up to 3,407,000 Parsteel across the two missions, which makes the Klingon route the Parsteel-heavy one.
Tips
Bring a combat ship that can reliably beat level 26 and higher hostiles. Ten kills is the whole challenge, so a ship that wins those fights quickly finishes the mission quickly.
