Voice of Reason is a story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command about getting Klingon civilians to safety. You talk to the Klingons in B’Oh about evacuation, move the evacuees to Stradania, then return to B’Oh to disable a Klingon Officer’s ship before heading home. It can be accepted at warp 1 and needs warp 70 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The officer’s ship is about 1.37 million strength. The reward is 380 Klingon Recruit Tokens, and finishing it unlocks Futility.
Voice of Reason objectives
The story line asks you to get Klingon civilians to safety. There are five objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Talk to the Klingons about evacuation. Location: B’Oh.
- Evacuate Klingon civilians. Location: B’Oh.
- Bring the evacuees somewhere safe. Location: Stradania.
- Disable the Klingon Officer’s ship. Location: B’Oh. Enemy strength is roughly 1,373,877.
- Return to your Station.
The route runs from B’Oh to Stradania and back to B’Oh. The only fight comes after the evacuation, against the Klingon Officer’s ship.
Where and what warp
The mission can be accepted at warp 1, but B’Oh and Stradania need warp 70 to complete it. The recommended level is listed as 1. The Klingon Officer’s ship at about 1,373,877 strength is the real test.
Voice of Reason rewards
The only reward is 380 Klingon Recruit Tokens. There are no faction reputation changes. Completing the mission also unlocks the next mission, Futility. The mission before it is Unstoppable.

Voice of Reason has the weakest named enemy of the three and is the only one with no reputation changes, but it also pays only recruit tokens. Revolutions and A Higher Echelon both swing Klingon and Romulan standing hard.
Hostiles along the route
Current hostile data lists Klingon hostiles in B’Oh at level 42 to 44, including Klingon Hunters, a Klingon Scout and a Klingon Fortress. Stradania has Independent Traders and Fearless Bandits from level 39 to 45. None of them are part of the mission.
Tips
Save your ship’s health for the officer. The evacuation steps involve no fighting, so you can arrive back in B’Oh at full strength.
Any combat ship that handles 1.4 million strength targets can finish this mission; it is a good warm-up for the stronger B’Oh fights in Revolutions.
