Uninvited Guests is a level 26 mission in the Discovery storyline of Star Trek Fleet Command. You repair a strange alien metal in the Refinery, meet a chemical analyst in Fastolf and hand over the refined metal, then meet the USS Discovery in Netron Alpha. It becomes available at warp 1 and needs warp 20 to complete, with no fights. The reward is 180,000 Tritanium, 36,000 Dilithium and a 1 Day Peace Shield, which is the line most players will value.
Uninvited Guests objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Repair the alien metal in the Refinery.
- Meet with a chemical analyst. Location: Fastolf.
- Give the analyst the Refined Alien Metal.
- Meet with the USS Discovery. Location: Netron Alpha.
The story line is to find a way to analyze the strange metal. The first step happens at your station, in the Refinery. You then take the result to Fastolf, where the analyst receives the Refined Alien Metal. The mission closes with a meeting with the USS Discovery in Netron Alpha.
No hostile is listed. The work is one Refinery step and two trips.

The mission becomes available at warp 1 and needs warp 20 to complete. Fastolf and Netron Alpha are the two systems you have to reach. No pickup system is listed.
The recommended level is 26.

Where the alien metal comes from
The mission before this one, How Came I Here?, sets up the metal. In it you find and scan an anomaly in Arcadion, defeat an alien ship at about 104,274, investigate the wreckage and return to your station with the alien metal. Both of its choice paths pay one Twisted Alien Metal. Uninvited Guests picks up from there with the Refinery step.

Tips
Hold the peace shield. A full day of protection is the one reward here you cannot mine or farm, and it is worth far more saved for a night offline than used on a quiet afternoon.
Start at the Refinery. Nothing can move until the alien metal is repaired, so do that step before you send a ship out.
Any ship with warp 20 can finish the travel steps. With no fight in the mission, there is no reason to tie up your main combat ship.
