Turned to Ash is a story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you search for survivors after a Romulan assault on the Teneebia system. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 49 to complete, with the search in Teneebia and the evacuation to Alpha Centauri. There is no fight, but you must provide 18 million Parsteel to the emergency services. The reward is 1,500 Ultra Recruit Tokens and 13 3★ Rare Refined Gas.

Turned to Ash objectives

The story line reads: recover any survivors from the Romulan assault on the Teneebia system. There are three objectives and no choice split:

  • Search the Teneebia system for survivors of the Romulan attack. Location: Teneebia.
  • Provide 18M Parsteel to the emergency services.
  • Evacuate some critically injured people to a medical station nearby. Location: Alpha Centauri.

The mission is a relief effort. You search Teneebia, pay for the emergency response, and carry the injured to a medical station in Alpha Centauri. No hostile is listed at any step.

Where and what warp

The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 49 to complete. Teneebia is a Federation system, and Alpha Centauri is where the mission ends.

The game lists a recommended level of 1. With no combat, the real requirements are the warp 49 range and 18 million Parsteel.

How it follows Too Little Too Late

The mission before this one is Too Little Too Late. It needs warp 40 to start and warp 49 to complete, and it pays 801,000 Dilithium, 28 3 Hour Speed Ups, 500 Federation Credits and 100,000 Federation Points. Turned to Ash keeps the same warp 49 finish and continues the aftermath of the Romulan attack.

The two missions reward different things. Too Little Too Late is the one for Dilithium, speed ups and Federation standing. Turned to Ash pays no faction points at all, and its value is almost entirely the 1,500 Ultra Recruit Tokens.

Tips

Stock the Parsteel before you go. The 18 million donation comes right after the Teneebia search, so arriving without it means waiting or flying home.

Any ship with warp 49 can run this, since nothing needs to be fought. A survey ship or spare explorer keeps your combat ship free.

Decide whether the trade suits you. You are effectively paying 18 million Parsteel for 1,500 Ultra Recruit Tokens and a small amount of 3★ Rare Refined Gas. If you are short on Parsteel for building upgrades, you can leave it until later, since no other mission waits on it.

Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
