Truth Is Subjective is a Klingon-aligned collection mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. Instead of flying a route, you collect 40 Federation Messages and then donate them. It needs only warp 1 to start and complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1, so the only gate is gathering the messages. The reward is 27 4★ Rare Refined Ore, 27 4★ Rare Refined Crystal and 260,000 Klingon Points, and finishing it unlocks Could It Be True?
Truth Is Subjective objectives
The story line asks you to collect Federation Encrypted Messages. There are two objectives and no choice split:
- Collect 40 Federation Messages.
- Donate 40 Federation Messages.
No system is named and no fight is scripted. Once you hold 40 Federation Messages, you hand them over and the mission completes.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. The recommended level is listed as 1. The real work is finding 40 Federation Messages, which depends on where they drop for you.

Completing the mission also unlocks the next mission, Could It Be True? The mission before it is As It Were, where you track down an unidentified assassin in Asronal and Wololo. As a Klingon mission, it costs more Romulan standing than it adds in Klingon standing.
Where Federation Messages come from
Current hostile data lists the Assimilator Data Cube as a source: it drops Federation Messages (and Romulan Messages) at levels 37 to 54, in amounts from 45 up to 13,500. A single good drop can cover this mission many times over.

Truth Is Subjective asks for fewer messages than every mission here except Cover Charge, and like We Will Not Be Silenced it needs no travel at all.
Tips
Hold on to Federation Messages as they drop. Several missions use them, and once you have 40 this one completes on the spot.
