Triple Triad is a level 16 combat mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you hunt down three dishonored fugitives. It needs only warp 1 to start and to complete, and the three fights are Thallar and Namon in Cita Laga, then Captain Diara in Deneva, rising from about 6,700 to 11,200 strength. The reward is 35,000 Parsteel, and finishing it unlocks the next mission, Vaults. It is a quick run of three escalating fights close to home.
Triple Triad objectives
The story line reads: defeat the 3 dishonored fugitives in Cita Laga. There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Defeat Thallar. Location: Cita Laga. Enemy strength about 6,745.
- Defeat Namon. Location: Cita Laga. Enemy strength about 9,404.
- Defeat Captain Diara. Location: Deneva. Enemy strength about 11,176.
The story line names Cita Laga, but the last fugitive, Captain Diara, is found in Deneva. Each fight is stronger than the one before it.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete. Cita Laga and Deneva are both within that range.
The recommended level is 16. Captain Diara, at about 11,200 strength, is the fight to measure your ship against.
Triple Triad rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Parsteel | 35,000 |
Completing the mission also unlocks Vaults.
Where it sits in the story
| Mission | Recommended level | Warp to complete | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Higher Plain | 16 | 1 | 65,000 Parsteel |
| Triple Triad | 16 | 1 | 35,000 Parsteel |
| Vaults | 16 | 1 | 30,000 Parsteel |
All three are level 16 missions at warp 1, and together they pay 130,000 Parsteel. Triple Triad is the one with the fighting; Vaults, which follows, is a station build.
Tips
Take the fights in order and repair between them if needed. The strength climbs from about 6,700 to 9,400 to 11,200, so the last fight is the one most likely to go wrong.
Plan for three short fights rather than one long one. Each step up is modest, about 2,700 strength from Thallar to Namon and about 1,800 from Namon to Captain Diara, so repairing between fights keeps you in good shape for the last one.
Thallar and Namon are both in Cita Laga, so you can clear them in one visit. Captain Diara needs a short hop to Deneva. Both systems also appear in Vaccine, a level 14 transport mission, so the route may already be familiar.
If Captain Diara is too strong for your ship, spend some of the Parsteel from Higher Plain on upgrades first. Other missions around this level are on the mission guide.
